I went to see Mark at Watertown Transmission with a car that wasn’t shifting properly. He dropped what he was doing and said let’s go for a test ride. On the ride he was able to determine the vehicle did have a 3rd gear. When we got back to the shop, he popped the hood and discovered the overdrive linkage disconnected. So he popped it back on and now the car shifts as it should. I offered to pay him and he said next time. Truly an honest person and eager to help me, I was thrilled the vehicle did not require a transmission rebuild. I highly recommend him as an honest person to do business with. I did go back and paid him for his time and I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again.

I went to Mark and told him my car was “skipping”, I picked up my car the following week, I didn’t even get out of the parking lot and it was bucking and a warning sign came on my screen. I called Mark and was told to bring it back, I informed him it was worse then my original issue. After a few days I was informed it was my shifter, Mark reported he was getting a shifter and replace it. I called to see if my car was ready and Mark said no it wasn’t the shifter. Mark then said he was getting a computer chip. The second day I had my car it skipped, I called Mark immediately he told me to bring it in Monday. Over the weekend i took it to the mechanic that does the routine work, he scanned it and reported I needed a catalytic convertor, and informed me that the transmission wasn’t rebuilt, and was probably from a junkyard. I confronted Mark and he confirmed it was a transmission from the junkyard but it was “good”. I informed him he told me it was rebuilt and I had a friend call the first time my car wasn’t running right and Mark told him he rebuilt the transmission. Long story short I payed 3200 for a junkyard transmission and it still skips. GOOD LUCK if you go see Mark. The owner Mario made it right though and was very pleasant to deal with. The owner is Mario and owns Foreign Transmission, he told me any other issues come see him.

Mark will get your car fixed right for reasonable cost. Specializes in transmission repairs but will do almost any work needed.
