The course is being renovated and shouldn’t be charging full price. Not only is the place getting chopped up and reconfigured, but they aren’t even maintaining the rough. The place is completely overgrown outside of the fairways and greens. The pro shop took 20 minutes to start checking us in because of some antiquated procedures. The pro agreed that it’s ridiculous. Eventually he just had the guys in front of us go out and told them to pay when they finished.

We had a lunch for over 65 people for a 60th high school reunion. It was great, both the food and the service, the waitresses looked terrific and were quick and quiet. It was a very good time, with no complaints that I heard. We have been using this facility for many years and will continue to do so.

I had an event in the banquet area at the Windham Golf course yesterday and it was incredible! The space itself is beautiful. The food is superb. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, professional and attentive to detail. They go out of their way to accommodate your wishes and assure the best possible experience in every way. It was AMAZING! The web page says they are Event Experts...believe it, it's true! They make it so easy to plan and work so hard to execute while providing superior customer service and an amazing overall experience. A special shout out to Rachelle and Kasey, who are nothing less than AWESOME! Thank you so much for making yesterday's event so meaningful. Kevin

The course is in surprisingly good shape, despite the reviews of others, and the fact that they are reconfiguring the course.

But, but, but……..due to the ongoing reconfiguration, your golf apps will not work on 2/3 of the course, so you will have a hard time assessing distance unless you have a rangefinder. For some reason the course hasn’t bothered to put yardage markers out on the holes that are being reconfigured. Extremely disappointed by this when we played there last weekend. I fully agree with others that they should not be charging full price under current conditions. And honestly, how hard would it be to go out there and put some red, white and blue stakes in the ground. Seems remarkably lazy.

The course has promise if they just get some things fixed. Primarily how to run a golf course. I had an 11:24 tee time, but if someone with an earlier tee time is behind you in line to pay, you have to get out of line to let the people behind you pay. Did I get there early so I could pay and have plenty of time to warm up? Yes. Did waiting 20 minutes in the pro shop prevent that? Yes. Additionally the course allowed 3 young kids, with 2 sets of clubs, go out in one cart. Read that sentence again. That’s just not acceptable. It slowed pace down to a very unenjoyable rate, with no ranger to speed it up. The par 3 3rd should not be open yet. I understand wanting your full 18 out there but the green is just sand and the tee box is packed mud with thin grass. Exercise some patience. Having it open now is damaging it more than anything. Not a smart move. For what the course is right now, it’s very overpriced. The amenities are poor, no water on the course, no ball washers, old dirty golf carts. The price doesn’t correlate with what you get. In 3 to 5 years when the new holes mature they could have a gem over there, but for right now, it’s just not worth the trip.

I am 69 years old and in need of hydration I usually take a cooler for water and Gatorade on any course I play when it is above 85 degrees. The Pro explained I could not take it as they wanted to make money from the person selling drinks on the course . The person selling drinks only made two appearances and we became uncomfortably hot.

The first golf cart we drove had very poor brakes and was dangerous so we turned the cart in for another cart.

At the driving range we parked our golf cart near the driving range entrance at an out-of-the-way place, but the pro came down and wanted the cart moved to golf cart parking places which were not labeled as such. The driving range parking lot had two cars in
a lot built for 40 cars to park and it was after 12 PM on a weekday
Also, the 13th hole was marked with a sign that said it was the eighth hole which led to confusion.
All of this may seem petty, but together with the average conditions at best took away from the enjoyment of the day.

We held a class reunion at Windham Golf and were very pleased with everything. The staff was very pleasant and very accommodating. The venue is beautiful with great access to the deck overlooking the golf coarse. The food was very good and the event was very affordable. I highly recommend this venue. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

I am not a golfer but met a girlfriend there for drinks and dinner. The place is in Spring changeover mode. The greens are beautiful, the service is outstanding and so was the food. The chef even came out to say "hi". The sunset was AMAZING! Would love to post a pic!
