Town of West Hartford is located west of the capital city of Connecticut, Hartford. There are about 64,000 residents with a mix of residential and commercial areas. Noah Webster was born and raised there. Two high schools serves the area; Conard and Hall. The school system is highly ranked in the state and nation. There are many things to do; shopping, museums, hiking, etc. It is a family friendly town with many community events. Neighboring towns also offer a wide array of activities. The location is convenient to many popular destinations, about two hours to New York City, Boston, and Providence.

We were looking to purchase property in this town because it is a desirable place to live all around. The only downfall was, the housing prices were astronomical; bang for the buck was not there for us. However, we live close enough to enjoy the amenities We-Ha has to offer and we are there quite often!

It's disturbing that Rick the Town Mgr who is probably overpaid has the idea that one would have to be a Town resident to be considered a tax payer.

The king or queen of the taxpayers and underclass working women and men says you cannot go in a store without a mask. So much for America. Masks don't stop the spread of covid anyways it says so on the boxes. I went to spend money that I earned and a local business needs however they refused me entry due to not having a mask on.

West Hartford "Pay us your property taxes small business....BTW you cannot serve these people. But... you still owe us the full tax rate." Businesses need to stop paying you useless tyrants.

Came to eat at Red Robin in West Hartford and also to buy an iPhone 13 pro at Best Buy. Both places said it was mandatory to wear a mask even though we are vaccinated. Needless to say we went to another town to do business.

DUE TO MY UNFORTUNATE DEALINGS WITH TARGET'S DEPARTMENT STORE, I BARELY GOT TO CITY HALL BY 4:28 PM TO PAY MY MOTOR VEHICLE YEARLY TAX OBLIGATION - YIPPEE!

BY THE WAY, MAYOR CANTOR AND THE TOWN MANAGER AND ET CETERA, THOSE ENTRY DOORS SHOULD BE UNLOCKED UNTIL EXACTLY 4:30 PM, VIA THE CITY'S ORDINANCE AND THE LEGALLY CONTRACTED CLOSING TIME!!! ...ESPECIALLY, JUST AROUND THE DEADLINE TIMES OF PAYING OUR CITY TAXES!!!
