SCCC has helped me in so many ways ranging from great professors to getting involved in Campus Life. Now that I will be graduating in May I can proudly say that I have been given a great foundation to set me up for success at a 4 year college. The professors here are more than willing to help you out with any questions and you can really feel that they are passionate about teaching here. The community is friendly and overall made my experience here enjoyable even during a pandemic.

I will be starting my second year here at SCCC and so far it has been nothing but great. When I finished high school I knew I didn’t want to go away to school so county was the best option. It is close to my home so I am still able to work a full time job and on top, I am saving a ton of money. Every single staff member at this college is extremely helpful and they want to see you succeed. The professors are amazing at their job and will also help you with whatever you need. The campus is beautiful on top of it all and there are an endless amount of opportunities here at Sussex County Community College.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! SCCC has an amazing staff and they are always willing to assist you. They ensure that you are accomplishing your educational goals. The professors are also very understanding and truly want you to succeed. I never had an issue with any professor nor staff member. SCCC offers numerous opportunities to its students. I couldn't imagine attending any other Community College. Plus, its affordable!!!

I love SCCC! I am a non-traditional student and have never felt out of place or as if I do not have the same opportunities as students younger than myself. I also have never gone to a college, community, or otherwise where the administrative staff is so helpful and kind! Nice change! It has been such a pleasure beginning at SCCC and the community here on campus.

I did not have a good time when I went here, they did not provide accommodations even though I had a letter from my doctor. Now, my mom graduated (and processed) last year and she never received her degree. She's been calling about it and finally was told a whole year later that she's still missing a class. She had finished a program to skip that class but apparently she has to pay again for the school to receive the results.

SCCC has great professors and great resources to help you succeed. Even though going to college during a pandemic is difficult, I was lucky to become a part of the Student Government, which opened so many doors. I am graduating in May and I feel confident that I will succeed at my 4 year school.

There are many great professors however that does not make up for the rest of the horrible people there. For instance the current head of campus life treats students and other staff like garbage yet still has job. Many in administration will blame and punish students for their own failures. High chance you can get highest honours in your degree of choice but unable to find a job in your field.

Attending SCCC was the first step I decided to take after graduating high school. I knew from the start going straight into a 4 year college was not the right choice for me. I had a goal of taking prerequisites for a future Dental Hygiene program. After 2 years of completing an associates, playing college softball and saving myself financially I was successfully able to transfer ALL my credits to a 4 year college. The professors made this process effortless while also providing me with what I needed to progress through the rigorous program of becoming a dental hygienist. College is always what you put into it and Sussex was by far the best choice.
