Very professional, great attention to details.
I worked with SunAir on several projects and they always did a very good job. Two years ago they replaced my HVAC and water heater with heat pumps. And they flawlessly installed solar panels, taking care of the PGE and county permits. The system has been in production for a year and a half. This year, they added batteries to better take advantage of TOU and provide a backup. Peter went the extra mile to make sure all devices were properly assigned and to add a water pump that required extra wiring. I am very happy with the system. A smaller project was to add HVAC in an annex.

I don’t even know where to start, because the project was so large.

Peter Cross who is the owner of Sun Air came out and gave us a quote for a whole home conversion from all gas appliances to electric which we have been meaning to do for quite sometime. After careful thought, since the project was such a large investment, we chose to move forward with it.

It included a full solar installation with whole home back up batteries. A new main panel upgrade with one sub-panel. A heat pump water heater installation with a water softener and whole house water filter. In addition, we added a new central Hvac heat pump installation with all new ductwork for the main house and a four zone mini split heat pump installation for the pool house, the four zones were necessary for the pool house as it has vaulted ceilings. Additionally, two car chargers with an additional circuit to convert our gas range to electric.

We are now a gas free house with no electric bill.

I will start off by saying Peter, Adrian, and Jacob were so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They worked hard on this project and we are very pleased with the outcome.

Last week Peter Cross and his Sun Air crew (Adrian and Jacob) finished a 2-week electrical job at our 90-year-old rental house. We are very pleased with the results. They did a complete electrical rewiring of the house and garage, updated the electrical panel, replaced old outlets and added many new outlets, replaced light switches, installed 220 to the kitchen, installed new lighting fixtures, updated our whole-house fan switch, and added outdoor lighting and cameras.

Peter and crew did the project room-by-room, so that our tenant did not need to move out. This was huge. They moved furniture around as needed to do the work, and then moved the furniture back when done. They kept the job site clean and secure, with minimal impact. They were meticulous in their craftsmanship, with attention to detail. They take great pride in their work.

Peter was very helpful and patient in explaining our various options, along with his recommendations. He helped us in the selection of the lights and cameras, and his recommendations were spot on. The job was completed ahead of schedule, on budget, and we are very pleased with all aspects of it.

After completing that job, Peter and Adrian came out to our residence to trouble-shoot some issues we were having with lights and outlets. They then replaced and upgraded outlets, replaced a bathroom light, swapped out a couple of ceiling fans, and inspected our family room and living room canned-light system. Then, to top it off, they inspected our gas furnace (which Peter had installed in 2006), cleaned and adjusted it as needed.
They befriended our German Shepherd, who had lots to say to them as they performed their duties. They took it all in stride, being dog-lovers themselves.

It is great to have a company like Sun Air, who can handle heating and air conditioning, and also electrical projects. We consider Peter and his company to be our trusted advisors when it comes to HVAC and electrical matters, and recommend them highly.
