So glad I pick THIS local small business to attend to my electrical needs. My neighbors recommended Stanton Electric, and I could not have been more satisfied with their expertise and service. Special shout out to Mike and his trainee, Brian, for their exceptional work.

I started having problems with my master bedroom closet lights and outlets along one side of the bedroom itself. I was aware I had aluminum wiring as the house is 70 years old. They installed alumiconns in these areas as well as other potential outlets in my home. They found issues with the junction boxes in my garage and the attic, fixed them all and we still had one problem with the outlet not working for the refrigerator. They checked my outside electrical meter and found some frayed wiring inside the meter and recommended I call Duke Energy to see if the issue was in the "can" as they called it.

Duke technicians came out and found that the meter had a faulty lug that was impacting almost one half of my house. It had expanded open. Given the meter was old, if my electricians could not find a replacement for the faulty lug, they would have to come out and replace it with a new computer meter, which would require permitting. This was a Friday and Duke stated they needed to "cap" this lug and I would not be able to use the furnace, A.C, stove or hot water heater. It was going to be the first weekend cold front coming through Orlando. Mike went to three different locations to find a replacement "can". He said he didn't want me going through an entire weekend without hot water or heat. He finally found one, but it was too big to replace my meter. However, Mike decided to lay all the parts on the driveway and found the lug that would match my meter. He replaced it and everything worked perfectly!

I commend Mike for his ingenuity and for going above and beyond for the customer. I highly recommend Stanton Electric! Their service charges are very reasonable compared to other electrical companies I have used in the past (and with not great results, I might add). Mike and Brian even found problems with an outlet I had repaired by another local company, and I paid a significant amount more per hour for their shoddy work. Make Stanton Electric your first call if you have electrical issues. You will not be disappointed!
