Don’t let these guys build your engine, had them build me a complete engine and they left trash in the engine, didn’t tell me about the rot spot in one cylinder wall and didn’t tell me how egged out the cylinders were. The engine ate up the main bearing and rod bearings in 150 miles. Engine also lifted the heads on the dyno because they never decked the block. If you want your engine to last go else where and take your money to a reputable shop. They told me to kick rocks. Good way to be out $4,300 plus another 2k in parts.

I had a 400 sbc short block built by Precision in late fall 2022. All interactions & transactions were smooth and fair. I got a quote and they stood close to that quote. I have worked in a small business long enough where I can tell just by conversation and the facility how things will go. The guys are dedicated to their profession and take pride in their work. I had most of the parts and I needed them to get some parts for completion. Knowing I was going to get the block heavily machined, I knew they would have to get those parts. In the end, everything turned out as expected and today, after 1200 miles on the build, I couldn't be happier. Mike is mainly who I dealt with, he was good at listening to my needs and didn't push what or how he thought I should have my engine built. Mike was a good listener to the customers needs and wants. I felt the need to write a review, because mostly what I wrote above. I can't say enough good about these guys. Too many people are quick to point fingers and bash a business, I'm going to leave it at that... Thanks again Precision Auto Machine!!

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! I Had them rebuild motors. They sent them back to me with 30%-40% leak down. Good thing I checked. I returned them to precision and they fixed them. Spent a fortune on the rebuild. 25 hours later I have 35%-50% leak down. The machine shop said too bad. They said when they left here and they were fine. They don’t stand behind their product. They don’t warranty their work. It took them 4 times to get my friends marine motor correct. Spend your money elsewhere and with a company that will stand behind their work.

They did a 3 angle valve job on my Buick 455 heads for a reasonable price and then were gracious enough to reduce the price on the intake milling to match the new heads. This engine is running hard now and appears it will do so for a while. They fixed the intake leak caused by the ill-fitting intake and now it idles much better, with a much larger cam to boot.

Very reasonable prices, have had a 4cyl head off a 2.3 turbo re done with bigger valves and resurfaced they did an amazing job, have had a cummins 6bt cylinder head re surfaced with a valve job again an amazing job, also had a flywheel resurfaced cane back perfect, and recently had another 6bt Cummins block bored out and came back perfectly clean and ready to go. Had a 496 stroker block bored out in Somers ct and the block came back full of metal shavings wasn't very happy.

Being the owner of Collinsville Motorcars, they’ve been nothing less than than professional and precise on everything I send them. Very honest and up front. Where to begin… spend money else where. Horrible customer service!!. They don’t stand behind their work at all period. Don’t return your calls and seems like they don’t care about their customers when it comes to spending alot of money and they destroyed the motor and left me dry with no help. Rather have auto zone build my motor in the parking lot..
