Will write a full review later. For the time being, The instructors are great. However, they do like to not pay your pellgrant. Also, when you have questions, not even financial aid is nowhere to be found.

I am definitely filing a full report and complaint about this school with the VA. So other veterans don't get screwed. 🍻🇺🇲

The staff, my instructor and financial aid women in that building are liars and coerced against me with nutmeg state financial credit union by making up a fabricated story and defaming my name stating something that just didn’t happen. I called the school multiple times, have reached out to Kim in the office , no answer and the campus director Jack Burke doesn’t seem to care and has shoved this incident aside. Neglecting my rights and profiling me. Along with my dental assisting instructor who decided to send me a text which had no correlation to what was going on essentially trying to scare and threaten me out of program for absolutely no reason. For something the school and their 3rd party financial institution made up and purposely pushed me out of program. This was absolutely premeditated and will be taking legal action. Those people are untruthful , racist liars. Along with slander , defamation of character against me. They did nothing but let it happen and continued to then engage. They will not respond to us.

Porter and Chester saved my life. As a graduating student in the HVAC trade i was able to take what I learned to the next level. Fast forward 7 years and I am now a licensed and insured HVAC Contractor. I highly recommend this school if anyone is looking for a real career, especially in the HVAC trade. Their HVAC program is outstanding and they have instructors that really care and want to see incoming men and women become successful in the HVAC industry.

Porter & Chester is holding my degree hostage. I was told when i started that i could either make the payments each month or pay as i graduate. Now im being told that i can't graduate or get my degree until i pay them 7 grand. I was unerolled from the program without my knowledge and put on probation practically. It seems like private loans are a scam

I started my education during the whole COVID pandemic, it was unexpected for everyone. I can say that my professors and my director of nursing at my Waterbury,CT campus have been very accommodating and have done a great job in making sure that we stay informed on all the changes. We have had all our supplies and resources at reasonable timing and even though this has been a trying times for all of us. I would especially Like to recognize Mr. Elliot Wolfer for all his patience and dedication with us. I am grateful for my time here.

Absolute waste of precious time and money. I can’t speak for the nursing and dental programs but I can say the trade programs are a total mess. Poorly organized, passionless staff, far beyond overpriced, and all around inadequate education. They claim they will sort you out with a job, but any employer with any knowledge will know the awful reputation this school has, for good reason. I don’t think I have ever left a bad review for any business, but this place deserves it. I have talked to plenty of other students suffering from the same or similar issues as me, and even the teachers constantly complain about how mismanaged this school is and how horrible their bosses are. I enrolled in July and quickly got the hell out after seeing how awful this place really is. Please do not give this place any more money, take your business elsewhere.

I graduated 2 years ago & I don’t regret It! Leia is AMAZING! Kim from financial aid helped guide me with all the necessary information before enrolling and broke everything down and got everything over and done with ease. Cassie helped create my resume & helped with my job search & had various interviews until I was hired & have been at my job since! I Loved It so much Im going back for the LPN course.

I have had the best experience here at Porter & Chester for my Medical Assisting program! I highly recommend the school and program. Mrs. Saunders and Miss Sierros are the best instructors and have taught me so much. I lost faith in myself and what I was capable to accomplish and they helped me become more confident and realize I am capable of this and so much more! I am finishing up my externship this week and I cannot believe it is all coming to an end, but it will just keep getting better from here!!
