After alot of research, I contacted Chris at PIE, and ordered a 408 stroker. I went to his shop in Delaware Oct 2024, and was very impressed, with the builds and services he provides. I ordered the motor over a year ago and every time I contacted him he kept me up to date about what was going on and where we were in the build, and he even bounced some suggestions off me during to build to make more power, I respect that alot, I'm pretty picky about who works on my cars, and I wouldn't have any problems letting these guys do anything. There isn't alot of shops working on these older cars or motors anymore, so it makes it more difficult to find someone you trust. I feel very sad for the future tires that are going to be destroyed by the motor that Chris built for me. Excellent job guys...John

I ordered a 360 magnum crate motor last year and it was worth the wait. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris in person yesterday when I went to his shop in Delaware. I was so amazed of his state of the art shop and all the engines he is working on. Everything he said he was going to do he did. My PIE Gen III Hemi crate engine represents the nexus of performance and drive-ability/reliability. Under normal daily driving engine performance is smooth, quiet and confidence-inspiring. Nail the throttle and you’re rewarded with fire breathing power that shoots the car down the road, and a sound that belongs at the track. It’s just awesome.

Head work is pure art. One look at the porting work reveals the secret to this engine’s performance; it’s simply sublime. Sort of a shame to bolt on the intake and cover it up.

Chris cares about his customers and will not leave you hanging. He’s exceptionally talented at dealing with customers who may not have the most experience or knowledge in high performance systems.

Remote tuning is excellent. Chris can tease out every ounce of performance and reliability possible without a chassis dyno. Even when your installer thinks the tune is “fine.”

Finally, PIE provides impressive, streetable performance at a fair price. A very fair price indeed.

Had Chris build the 505 street/strip crate engine for me. This Engine is amazing, what a power plant. I'm going to have to do A mini Tub so I can put some more tire on the ground. Thanks Chris.

Pie was great to work with I dropped off my gen3 hemi in January and they told me it will be done in March and it was done in March. Chris answered all my questions and updated me through out the build. Would definitely recommend!!!

I submitted my Dodge Charger to him. July of 2022 for engine repair and install a brand new transmission that I supplied a fuel tank and gears in the rear cooling system and vintage air that I supply after 14 months This is what I got back are differential that is leaking screws where they put the fuel line under the car going through my floor board. High, nelt in my car and ripped my leg open on it. A fuel tank that will not fill up because it's not vented properly, keeps spitting back. Shifter cable was not hooked up properly. Car was starting out in second year would not go into first I had to re adjust that as well including the tv cable for the transmission Car wasn't even going into full throttle because of the TV cable. Wires in the engine Plugged them up and tucked them under the distributor Amazingly, he kept telling me that things were bad with my car.
Is in primer? I guess but I don't understand why it took so long. And why he doesn't double check the work. The motor works fine other than a rare main seal week. However, the work is mechanic, did is all screwed up. He must not check what his employees are doing. And he values there opinion more than he values the opinion of the customer. I spent $20000 there and I do not believe I got mine money's worth. I have only put 4 miles on my car. And I'm handicapped on oxygen . You does not seem to appreciate all customers .May be knowledgeable and build good motors. But hes not checking on his employee's quality and type of work And when you mentioned what was wrong before taking delivery? All he could do was find fault with my car instead of fault with what was done such as exhaust leaks, shift or cable, and so forth.
