I am in need of a structural engineer to help me make a very old (1890s) house structurally sound. I had an appointment for today, but no one showed up. When I called to ask about the status of the appointment, I was told one of their engineers didn't show up to work today. They offered to reschedule. Seems like someone should have called me to say the appointment needed to be changed. Instead, my time was wasted with no notice nor apology. Plus my whole project is delayed since I need engineering plans to proceed.
I understand that circumstances change, but there's no excuse for not notifying a customer about not being able to make the appointment. Sadly, I will not be rescheduling with ORB and cannot recommend them.

Orb engineering helped me with a change of occupancy. We started with a two bedroom residents and converted into a barbershop. This process required many different plans which Orb engineering was accustomed to producing. For my job a demolition, electrical, mechanical, and site plan were required. Orb engineering produced these documents in a timely manner and they were approved with no comments. Call them for your remodeling or new construction needs.

We contracted ORB to draw plans for our home addition and when the moment came to make a change to the drawings to keep everything going smoothly with the county they told me that they were too busy to make any changes and that they were not going to do them. The county told me they had to but the only way is through litigation. Imagine the stress, we thought we could count on them to get to the end of the project. Nope, we kept reaching out and ORB recommended a design drawer to us that ultimately ended up stealing $600 dollars in addition to what we had already paid ORB. If you are searching for a company to walk with you to the end, this one is not it. May you have better luck than we did.
