I have been a very satisfied customer of New England Electrical Contracting for almost six years. I have had a standby generator since 2013, which for until 2019, was serviced by another electrical contractor. There is absolutely no comparison between that company, which was often very slow to respond to any of our generator issues, and New England Electrical. One of the best moves that I have made as a homeowner was to switch to New England Electrical. The ownership and leadership of Brianna, coupled with the technical expertise of Mike provides for excellent service. Most recently, on Christmas Eve 2024, my generator did not start for its weekly "exercise." I called Brianna who was aware of the problem because of our remote monitoring and had already informed Mike. Mike showed up to rectify the issue, servicing the generator while a wintery mix of snow and rain came down and missed being with his family for Christmas Eve religious services and dinner. It wasn't like we were without power. Servicing our generator could have waited until December 26th but Mike showed up within a few hours of the generator malfunction ensuring that if we did subsequently lose power, my family's Christmas celebration would not have been disrupted. I highly recommend New England Electrical Contracting for your generator monitoring and servicing, as well as any other of your electrical needs.

I got introduced to New England Electrical Contracting when I bought a Tesla and needed to have a charging station put in to my garage. Mike and his team did it quickly and professionally. The following year we moved to another house that has many electrical issues and we are using NEEC exclusively. They are doing everything from installing a new generator to putting up our chandelier and a lot of smaller electrical projects.

I highly recommend New England Electrical Contractors. Not all electrical contractors are created equal, and New England Electrical Contractors is one of the good ones. Finally, after two different electricians over the past decade installed the wrong fixtures on my deck, resulting in not only unnecessary replacement, but also the rotting of my deck boards, Mike came to my rescue. He used appropriate landscape fixtures (not upside down spotlights like my previous electricians used), and installed the lights and their boxes on my fence posts, not directly on the deck boards. He replaced the rotted deck boards, cutting the new boards with great precision around the posts and for the electrical wires. You can see in the picture that my house now lights up beautifully at night. In addition to my miscellaneous electrical needs, New England Contractors will be maintaining my generator. I love the “one stop shopping” for both needs.

Mike and his assistant were great! They replaced lights in my pool, didn’t even have to drain it! They were efficient and professional and even caught something that had not been done properly by my pool company and was able to fix that as well. Definitely the guys to call!

NE Electrical Contracting services my generator. Recently the generator transfer switch failed. Got an appointment within a few days, and technician Mike diagnosed the problem within an hour. I appreciate how he listened carefully to the issue and kept me updated on progress. He stayed late to get the new control module installed properly, then checked up a few days later to make sure the generator could do a full function test properly. I really appreciate the patience and going the last mile.
