Called Mountain Mechanical on Sunday to do some diagnostic work on my HVAC system which has a heat pump and was not working. Owner Gary answered and made an appointment for the next business day. He arrived and did some extensive work and actually called in another tech who also checked system before condemning it.. I was very satisfied with their. advice and they will be both involved in replacing my HVAC SYSTEM. I have Great confidence that new system will work great!

I had Gary and his crew service my central air in Sept of 23, Jan 3rd I could smell a strong solvent smell in my home that rendered both my wife and I extremely ill. I contacted Gary, which I didn't know was actually on a vacation hunt out of state and he took my call. Not only did he take my call but was able to have his crew come to my home and they thoroughly inspected my entire heating and cooling system in less than 24hrs which was impressive because they are extremely busy. Thankfully there was no problems with the systems. I found the source of the fumes and was able to resolve issue. Gary who was still on vacation contacted me 3 more times to check on my wife and I and offered his knowledge and suggestions to help me find the source of our problem. I can't thank him and express my appreciation enough to Gary and his crew, their customer service and professionalism is above and beyond and something you just don't find in most people and businesses these days. I'd also like to note that he didn't charge me for the service call.... I'll never use anyone else for my heating and cooling needs and will recommend mountain mechanical to EVERYONE I know. Thank you Gary and thank you to your EXCELLENT crew.

Our HVAC unit was leaking condensate all over the floor of the mechanical room, but the designing/installing company in Missoula was too busy to come look at the issue. Our home builder not only recommended Mountain Mechanical, he contacted Gary Burdett (owner of MM) for us. Gary reached out to us immediately, and came to the home the next day to see what was wrong. Gary quickly identified the minor problem, and advised he was happy to fix it but would need to go to Ace to get a PVC fitting...or I could repair it myself and not charge me a service call. I elected to fix it myself, and Gary also advised I was using the incorrect filter and he would order the right ones for me if I wished. Gary did so, and I picked up the filters at his Polson shop the next day ...at half the price I had been paying for years.
It was such a pleasure doing business with a professional and ethical contractor! We will use Mountain Mechanical exclusively now for all of our HVAC service and repairs.

Gary was very quick to respond to our request to meet and discuss air conditioning for our Polson home. He visited us the next day and surveyed the house, making suggestions about the installation and type of equipment most suitable for our needs. This was very helpful, as the choices of air conditioning equipment for our home were bewildering and we had little personal experience to rely on. We were reassured by Gary’s personal treatment and the track record of his company and hired Mountain Mechanical to do the installation. Let me say unequivocally that this was the right decision. Gary provided us with detailed instructions on preparing the site for the Fujitsu heat pump and mini-split equipment. The overall cost of the project was very reasonable and less that I had expected. Gary kept us regularly updated with phone calls and text messages on the arrival of the equipment and target installation date as well as coordination with the electrical contractor. Gary told us to expect that the installation would take a day and a half to complete. In fact, his crew and electrician completed the installation in less than one day. They arrived at 9am and were finished by 2pm, and instantly we were enjoying air conditioning. The crew was very helpful in giving us pointers on best practices for operating the system. They cleaned up and removed all packing materials from the job site. The system is working perfectly and quietly. We highly recommend talking with Mountain Mechanical if you are considering air conditioning for your home.

Fantastic work. I was informed by the company that installed my 2 year old heat pump that there was no warranty for repairs. I was given a quote of well over $1000 to attempt repair, and a recommendation that I skip trying to repair it and simply replace it for about $5000. Mountain Mechanical repaired it promptly and it works flawlessly (for less than 25% of the original estimate for repair). I am very grateful and will always call them from here on out if any HVAC issues arise.

Gary & his crew at Mountain Mechanical have been very helpful and professional to work with. When we purchased our home in Polson our HVAC was in need of replacement. Gary helped us make small repairs to extend the use of the old HVAC unit and eventually replace it with a new system. His crew was always very professional and courteous, and the new install was planned and executed to ensure our family will be comfortable for our first Montana winter. I would highly recommend Mountain Mechanical for any HVAC repair, maintenance or new install job!

Gary with Mountain Mechanical was very prompt and reviewed our situation thoroughly. He scheduled the installation date and and his team was on site as scheduled. The installation team was very knowledgeable and professional and completed the installation in less than a day. The sytem has been up and running for week now during the hottest part of the summer. Gary gave suggestions on best economical option for AC to be put in at our house to meet our needs. They were able to do the job fairly soon after our meeting. Gary even had electrician suggestions etc. Job was all completed in a day. Very Happy with his professional crew. There was also good follow-up by Gary to make sure we were satisfied after job was completed
