I've lived here for a few years. Rent is going up up up and they have not cleaned the windows in YEARS!!! Literally YEARS since they washed the windows. And we have been asking for a long time about it. It comes down to money, getting quotes for yadda yadda, power wash, yadda... It's filthy. Spiders live in every pane of every window. Your beautiful view of the river or sunset over Main Street is foggy and dirt filled. You want to pay between 2-3k a month for windows that look like this? Check out these actual photos of Montgomery Mill inside windows looking out. The day the windows get washed I'll be fair and delete this review. Staying put with photos until then...

Beautiful place (if you are physically fit for stairs and long walks) but you only get 1 key, 1 fob, 1 parking space, 1 mail key. Using a fob is super annoying- it's easy to get locked out. Not good for those with ADD who lose keys or those who have a vehicle and a second vehicle (I have a motorcycle). The office is only open 8 to 4- I work then. Storage area that you are shown on the tour does not mean it is available- this happened to me and now I pay for storage elsewhere. It's not good to be far from the central elevator, especially if you have a dog or are an older person and above the first floor. Try for 1st or second floor only- don't to face the railroad tracks. Try for the side of the building near the river. I can't store my antique car there but someone in the building is allowed to. For $2,400 a month, go for a place on the ground level, no fobs and a pool. Best of luck- when you have pets there are so few places willing to rent that options are severely limited and expensive. Sad that I have to move again in 10 months as I just moved in....

This review is not meant to be negative at all it’s just my experience dealing with the leasing office. Six months ago my mother and I went to view these apartments just looking to get some more information. At the time there wasn’t a one bedroom available so our tour guide showed me a two bedroom. I fell in love with the interior design of these spaces. High ceilings, a lot of cabinet space in the kitchen no carpet’s, giant windows etc. etc. Our tour guide was very patient & very kind. He allowed us to stay and ask as many questions as we needed and even told us to check back in towards the beginning or middle of the fall when leases would be ending for certain tenants. Really good first impression. I also spoke to quite a few tenants who had mixed review about the apartments but all of them said that all in all they enjoyed living there and that there expenses were not too high at all.

After we had viewed the apartment he then told us about the affordable renters program which I was very excited about because being an educator I don’t make that much money. After telling him my annual income he assured me that I would qualify for the renters program which prompted me to go ahead and submit an application. Fast forward last month: I received a letter in the mail stating I was denied housing because I didn’t meet the income qualifications. I have left voicemail after voicemail I have tried to reach out via email and have yet to receive any communication back.

While I have an idea of why i was denied housing it would’ve been nice to have some clarification (seeing as I was assured that I would qualify for housing.)

I still think that these apartments can be great for some tenants and even though my experience wasn’t the best it doesn’t dictate somebody else’s experience. So please don’t let the not so great reviews shy you away from going to view the apartment, asking questions, taking pictures & bringing up your concerns for yourself. Good luck 💗

Absolutely amazing. I don’t leave reviews often. However, Ryan Kelly the leasing manager and the staff of this building are phenomenal people. The move in process was simple, the apartments are beautiful. The amenities from parking garage to even a gym are awesome. access to local natural parks walking trails are perfect. Located easy 5 minute drive to the highways, plenty of shops and restaurants around for foodies like my self. Also I can have my dog companion with me. I have nothing bad to say about this place one bit and highly recommend taking a look.

I absolutely love it, it’s beautiful, fancy, stunning and fits my style. The leasing office people are the best. They may not pick up the phone during the pandemic, but they have an excellent app where you can reach out to them and they will reply back even on Christmas Eve!!

I was the first resident of this building when it opened in August 2019.

Honestly I’m shocked to see bad reviews here and it’s unbelievable to me. At first, I thought they may not be real reviews.

I know they took time to complete and finish things, but hey, no one is ever rude. Also, we knew we were moving into a new place and it takes at least a couple months for things to be near perfect.

I love my home, people in the office, the view, amenities and everything about this place. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Come all and call this beautiful place your home. Grow and pull the community with you!

We have lived at Montgomery Mill since September and so far it has been a great experience. I can somewhat agree with some of the negative reviews in the way of the amenities being incomplete. The gym is nice to have, but it is very limited even with a cable machine due to lack of accessories. The bugs in the window in the warmer weather was a bit annoying, but we kept in mind that we live between a river and a canal. All in all the staff at the front desk and the maintenance people have been absolutely responsive and professional. It is a beautiful apartment with quick access to the highway. You could always nitpick but the reality is, it is a beautiful place to live and there is not many places in this area that compare. We consider it to be absolutely affordable and reasonable for what you get.

Great place. Built much better than our last "low income luxury apartment". Two bath/two bedroom apartments, gym, canal walk, pretty river, storage units. There's a dog walk but not much for children to do outside. That's my only minor issue. Maintenance staff is quick to all projects, even little ones like hallway light bulbs. Office staff is nice and personable. Love living here. Great place for young families.
