As a former instructor of Lincoln Technical Institute in East Windsor. CT, I can assure you it is a good school and most of the instructors really care and will go above and beyond for students that are engaged, willing to work, and put in the time. Those students are the ones that excel and will do will in their chosen field.
Unfortunately, many students choose to miss time, not do their assignments, and in some cases show up to class impaired. These students tend to take up excessive amounts of time & they do not produce. More often than not, they end up not working in their field of choice.
This is not grade 13. The school is for adults looking to learn valuable skills to end up in a career. The whole trick is putting in the effort. It really comes down to how badly you want it...
Unfortunately, after years without pay raises and in the end, being told in a staff meeting that the students are not coming to classes enough because the instructors don’t motivate them to do so.
In the end, we (instructors) were told there would be no raises. It was at that meeting that I realized I was wasting my time and moved on in life.
If spending thousands of dollars for training does not motivate you, perhaps you should look in the mirror and realize the problem is yours and you should take ownership of it instead of blaming others.
Then again, these are skilled trades and perhaps you just don't have what it takes...
Sorry if I hurt anyone's sensitive feelings, but not everyone is cut out to work a trade. It’s just my opinion/2 cents.
Maybe you should Google "Hurt Feelings Report" and fill it out accordingly...lol
I attended the 2023 “second annual” car show, which was to benefit the student fund - hopefully helping students who are struggling financially, but continue working hard towards their goals.
Radio 104 was in attendance. There were lots of great cars & people.
This is not to be mistaken with the original car show the school had put on, about 9 years ago. Back then, the car show took place during Student Appreciation Day and they had a dunk tank set up to help raise money for the student fund.

MA program was honestly such a breeze, Mrs. A was the most helpful teacher i’ve ever had. After finishing my program and looking back at everything this was probably the best decision i made to get my foot into the medical field door. again Mrs. A and and Ms. Mel were probably hands down some of the best teachers i had in my 14 years of education.

I had a problem and I informed the school and I got put as to blame. This school was good when I first started but now it's going down hill and it's not ok. Making a student look like a bad person instead of getting full story is uncalled for. Feels like the school is always on the side of the female instead of getting full story there trying to fine reasons for me to get removed out of program. Sadly I wouldn't recommend lincoln tech to anyone

I strongly advise against enrolling in the welding program here. There's no certificate when you graduate, and I encourage you to speak with union representatives about how unproductive this program can be. I personally regret my decision to attend. Throughout my time here, there has been a significant shortage of instructors, with constant turnover that is frustrating to witness. On one occasion, I had an instructor come into my booth who appeared to be under the influence. This institution is not accredited, so I urge you not to waste your time. I will be pursuing a refund for my tuition.

PREFACE: THIS APPLIES ONLY TO THE WELDING PROGRAM
PROS: Knowledgable, professional instructors who are willing to help and teach.
CONS: It is obvious once you are Enrolled that this institute's priority is not education, but making as much money as they can while providing the bare minimum necessary for their students. It is not worth the tuition they charge and the administration SERIOUSLY neglect both staff and student. The welding department director left during the second month of my time here (may 23) and there has been no news or communication of replacement since. Currently an administrator is the acting dpt head. This has lead to a vast degradation of dpt quality over the few months I've witnessed. There are fewer welding booths than there are students enrolled, and the school is forcing students to share booths, effectively cutting the students practical education time by HALF!!!! They will still charge you all $30,000 for half of the training they promise. The curriculum is chaotic and constantly changing between classes. Projects and materials are inconsistent, materials are severely lacking. For a day the shop ran out of electrodes completely because the dpt head did not order them on time. Shop tools (MANY WELDING MACHINES, 90% OF GRINDERS) have been left broken and unusable for 5+ months despite administration being aware. They have only recently replaced 4/14 broken grinders, nearly all welding leads are torn in spots and repaired shoddily with electrical tape, sometimes its not even electrical tape!!!!!!!! There are booths in various states of disrepair and neglect, which were present even when the previously competent dpt head that was actively trying to fix issues like this. The department is definitely understaffed. The wonderful instructors are overworked and over stressed to keep up with the demands the institution places on them. Overall, while you can succeed here, the administration gets no sympathy from me as they have neglected me, my classmates and my education.

Lincoln Tech’s East Windsor campus offers a unique educational experience for students pursuing careers in various technical fields. The environment is characterized by a strong sense of community, where the staff plays a pivotal role in fostering student success.

One of the standout features of Lincoln Tech East Windsor is its friendly and supportive staff. From the moment you step onto the campus, you are greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. The instructors and administrative personnel are genuinely invested in the success of their students. They go above and beyond to provide assistance, whether it’s through academic support, career counseling, or personal guidance. This level of commitment creates an encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to engage fully in their education.

In the past year, Lincoln Tech has made significant investments in tools and equipment, enhancing the learning experience for students. Access to modern technology and industry-standard equipment is crucial for hands-on training in technical fields. These upgrades not only improve the quality of education but also ensure that students are well-prepared for their future careers. The availability of up-to-date resources allows students to gain practical skills that are directly applicable in the workforce.

A critical takeaway from my experience at Lincoln Tech is the importance of attitude when it comes to education. The school provides numerous opportunities for learning and growth; however, it is ultimately up to each student to make the most of these opportunities. A positive attitude can significantly enhance your learning experience. If you approach your studies with enthusiasm and dedication, you will likely reap greater rewards from your education. Conversely, if you attend classes without motivation or engagement, your ability to learn may be severely limited.

In summary, Lincoln Tech’s East Windsor campus stands out due to its friendly staff, substantial investment in educational resources, and emphasis on student attitude towards learning. For those willing to put in the effort and maintain a positive mindset, this institution offers a solid foundation for a successful career in technical fields.

The parking lot is worse than Hartfords pot holes they really need to repair it. I've been here for a while, and I've gone through two tires already. They don't take care of their facility 😔

Today was my last day at Lincoln Tech and I will be graduating from Welding. It was a pretty good experience from start to finish. I am excited for the future and want to thank Ryan Mullen in admissions for the start of my journey he was always helpful with any questions I had. Also the instructors and Jenna in career services for her continued support on finding a job.
