My family has been bringing our cars here for repairs for over 10 years. Multiple members of my family, myself included, have also purchased vehicles from LaPointe. They are fair, reasonable, and wont just recommend unncessary work to rip you off or take your money.

Very unprofessional, brought my car in only twice for a few issues. One of them being that the ac stopped working. Tried to tell them the stripped hardline bolt wasn’t the issue why it wasn’t holding a charge. They didn’t care to listen. Had to bring it back a second time for them to “fix” the issue. They charged me over $500, installed a aftermarket part, never offered back my OEM part that is RIGHTFULLY MINE. whatever they did to my car they made it worse. Whenever I turn my ac on it surges, my RPM and turbo psi increases drastically, it doesn’t even blow cold air.

I cannot even bring my car back to complain since one of the employees decided to take my personal number from the system (during my first initial visit) and harass me at his leisure. The last time I brought the car there I couldn’t get updates on the diagnostic even when I called the shops line multiple times on different days.
I only received updates when it was directly through that employees personal number. The owner said they tried to reach out to me a few times when I went there in person to see what’s going on. I didn’t receive any calls from the shops line so I was confused. I had to unblock that employee (from my first visit) in front of him to actually get updates on my car later that day. This is so uncalled for and it’s not okay to treat paying customers like this by any means. I was not issued an apology and it was brushed off by the owner, he didn’t give a damn.
I hope going forward they don’t scam and harass customers. I’ll never be a returning customer. I wish they never worked on my car. Thank you so much for making my issues even worse and charging me top dollar for additional headaches. Would love to give 0 stars. DON’T BRING YOUR CAR HERE! Especially if you are a woman. they will take advantage of you.

This pl is way 2 expensive. This was the 5th place I had went 2 they were double the price. WAY 2 over rated. I am a single mom w/2 children. I figured I shop around b4 bringin my vehicle anywhere. Jst be ready 2 be charged an arm & a leg.
