Working regularly with more than 10 municipalities for 25 years. Hundreds of permits.
This is by far the worst place to obtain a permit and get inspections for permits.
The head of this office is incompetent and it is constantly proven by the lack of respect for clients. By employees: plans examiners, environmental examiners, inspectors(aka: bullies) and more.
Kitsap County DCD needs an Overhaul.

The disrespect they give is incredible. Even some of the supervisors are not willing to listen to what your trying to explain. They just shut you out and then hang up on you when your trying to get clarification of what needs to be done. Also refused to send you an email of a list of things they are trying to explain. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. How some of these inspectors still are able to be employed with the county and treat homeowners they way they do is disgusting.
All I can say is if your working with Kitsap county stand your ground and don’t let them walk all over you like they are doing with me.

Instead Of Regulation We Need Education

Dear fascistic government and law abiding citizens of Kitsap county,

I present to you a gross misuse of your tax dollars. As described by myself.

In the original constitution of this country were the words “Life, Liberty, And property” later revised replacing “property” for “persuit of happiness”

This is tyranny, Not liberty

In Washington state a dog is considered property and by many a dog is considered their best friend, How can I be punished for giving my dog a shelter but him choosing to sleep in pile of dead leaves on his own will.

How is it reasonable for a government to regulate this in an attempt to prevent the already illegal act of negligently allowing your dog to bite,

When irresponsible owners keep ignoring common safety practice even when mandated, That is because no amount of regulation can effectively combat ignorance without even further violation violation of your rights.

In my eyes it is self evident that we the people should cease paying the counties excessive taxes and demand all civil works projects (y) be funded by something akin to a equally divided amount charged to all beneficiaries at the time of completion as our current system does not respect the taxpayers or represent the people who’s dollars fund this government’s shenanigans

(y) including but not limited to rehoming properly neglected animals

The constitution and historical precedent were ignored and was not taken into account when kitsap county wrote the county code section 7.00.000(0) granting the governing body limitless control over the constraint and licensing of my dog as stated with 7.14.030(1 , 10) and 7.08.010(1)

Whoever signs off on what is allowed to be built really dropped the ball. Between the excessive roundabouts and oversized, overpriced apartments being built we as citizens will be priced out of our homes. The lack of foresight involved with the 600+ houses and 500+ apartment units going in will cause many issues with infrastructure. And don't even get me started on the useless California corporate coffee stands and storage plazas. You have failed your community and I believe there should be fraud investigations.
