Grew up going to Jimmies. Haven't been here in years. After reading the reviews. I decided to make a stop to see if it really is as bad as they say. After much research and personal experience, I am convinced many of the bad reviews are hate from locals and possibly associated with a brewery that was looking to move in next door. I saw reviews of bad food, bad service and the inside falling apart. All of which I found to be untrue. Google should consider removing those reviews and going down and enjoying a meal to confirm this. I have attached photos as proof that Jimmies is clean. The service was very good and the food was enjoyable. Also posted a receipt to show the prices are reasonable as well. Unlike the reviews portray. And to those who are trying to tear this place down with negative false reviews.. kick rocks!

I mean it was not bad but i wasn’t the best ever type of meal.
It looks very outdated and needs some remodeling.
The place have so much potential and id love to return in the future and be pleasantly surprised!
Other than for the view I don’t think I’ll be visiting again soon. Service was great our waitresses were amazing and helpful.

Non spaventatevi dal menu, molti piatti sono MP, cioè prezzo del giorno, chiedete i prezzi direttamente prima di ordinare, le porzioni sono abbondanti e comunque sono organizzati con il box da portare via, pesce buono, siamo arrivati alle 20 circa e non ci sono stati problemi di chiusura

Do not take reservations but it was off season, so not very crowded. Fried platter was okay. Lobster roll was fairly good with lots of lobster meat. Stuffed sole was good. Two of had the Corn and crab chowder and enjoyed it. Side salad was good.

Great views while dining inside. Family friendly place right next to the beach trail. Food was good and service was friendly. Desserts were huge.

My family and I had our first (and most certainly) our last trip to Jimmies of Savin Rock. To say I'm disappointed in the manager's behavior would be an understatement.
We arrived and were excited about dining here. While trying to enjoy the warm bread rolls, we noticed one of the staff sweeping under the tables right next to us. I asked him if there's no vacuum, as the dust from the old carpet was irritating my allergies. He said no, and I asked to speak to the manager.
A woman came out (picture attached), stating that she's the GM and runs the show. She said that they've been sweeping the carpets for 98 years, they know what they are doing, and we shouldn't tell them how to do their job.
Honestly, this wasn't the response I expected. She was VERY disrespectful and demanded that the staff NOT tell us her name. As we were very dissatisfied with her behavior.
BTW, our server, Anna, was very nice!
The owners need to provide their rude GM with some managerial and customer service training.
We will NOT be visiting this restaurant again and would not recommend this restaurant.
