We just completed our solar and battery project with iSP last week, and we were blown away by the experience. Earlier this year, we noticed iSP opened a new office in New Milford. When we started considering solar in April, we decided to check them out along with a few other local installers.
Tiffany Vilayphonh ("The Solar Chick") from iSP was the first to respond and even drove out the same day for an initial site visit and pre-consultation. Throughout the process, Tiffany was incredibly patient, answering all our questions. She even brought toys for our kids to keep them entertained during our consultation, which was a thoughtful gesture.
We narrowed our options down to three, then two installers. iSP and the other installer were in close competition. The larger competitor had a better price on paper, but their contract included a cancellation fee, while iSP allowed us to cancel up until the day before the install, giving us peace of mind. We also felt more comfortable with Tiffany and iSP, who provided excellent customer service and swift responses to our questions.
While iSP wasn't the cheapest option, their prices were competitive, and for a 25+ year investment, we didn't want to compromise on quality. We’re so glad we chose iSP. About 30 days after signing the contract, we had permission from Eversource to install the system, and within 60 days, we had PTO. The building permit was approved the day after the system was installed, and we received PTO from Eversource just 8 business days later. When iSP says they have a really good relationship with the local building inspectors and Eversource they are not kidding around.
Now that we’ve been producing our own power for the past week, we’re very impressed with the system’s performance. We’re well on our way to building up enough electric bill credits through the Meter Netting program to nearly 100% offset our annual consumption. We can't recommend iSP, and especially Tiffany V., enough!

A completely transparent and painless experience. Tiffany was a great salesperson - she answered questions and gave me the references I wanted. The installation went well and the system was approved 10 days later. She even went by my house to turn the system on. We highly recommend ISP.

I recently had the pleasure of having ISP install solar panels on my home, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience! From start to finish, our saleswoman Tiffany (aka The Solar Chick) and her team provided exceptional customer service and went above and beyond.
Tiffany (The Solar Chick) was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain all the benefits of going solar, including the cost savings and environmental impact. She answered all our questions with patience and clarity, making us feel confident in our decision.
Tiffany and her partner Mike coordinated having a few trees cut down from our yard and neighbors’ yards that were leaning towards our roof. Tiffany contacted each neighbor to coordinate scheduling and provide them with the necessary documentation. She was superb in handling communication with our neighbors and ensuring they felt confident their properties would receive no damage during the process. Our situation was quite unusual to work through when it came to the tree removal, but Mike, along with the tree company, was patient and diligent in figuring out an allowable access point to get the machinery into our backyard. We were also able to have a new roof installed, which Tiffany coordinated entirely. We simply had to be present whenever the contractors were coming to provide an estimate and do the work.
The installation team was equally impressive. They arrived on time, were professional, and worked efficiently to ensure everything was set up perfectly. The attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in every step they took. They even took the time to show me how the system works and how to monitor my energy production.
Overall, my experience with ISP has been outstanding. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and quality service is truly commendable. I highly recommend them to anyone considering making the switch to solar energy. It’s a decision you won’t regret!
And make sure to work with Tiffany “The Solar Chick”; you will not regret working with her. She truly cares and is intentional about providing a phenomenal customer experience. She is truly the best! AND her banana pudding and pina coco cake are equally as impressive.

Go with iSP Solar! This past spring, we learned that Eversource would be raising our bills multiple times this year, making it clear that our plan to go solar couldn't wait. By May, we signed our agreements, completed all the inspections and setup, and had our system installed on July 2, going live by July 11. Before solar, our highest Eversource bill was nearly $400, and the latest fee hike would have nearly doubled that amount with summer AC usage.
About 30 days after signing the contract, we had permission from Eversource to install the system, and within 40 days, we had PTO—receiving the final OK from Eversource just 8 business days later. When iSP says they have a strong relationship with local building inspectors and Eversource, they mean it.
Now that we’ve been producing our own power for a month, we’re impressed with the system’s performance and are on track to build enough credits through Meter Netting to offset our annual consumption.
After meeting with three solar companies, we chose iSP Solar, and we’re thrilled with our decision. Our energy consultants, Mark Voila and Nikos Belmezas, guided us through the process, and the entire iSP team was phenomenal every step of the way. The installation was smooth, and the crew was great. The system's real-time monitoring is fantastic.
While our last Eversource bill before solar was almost $350, our current solar loan is just $250 per month. The most recent Eversource bill, which included a substantial increase for most customers, was $0.00. I highly recommend going solar with iSP Solar!

These people are morons and simply used car salesmen. They don't know what they're talking about. They don't know a lot of things and they simply want you to sign a contract without you knowing exactly what you are getting.
Specifics: I entered the office to discuss buying a ground mount solar. I was then met by a guy wearing jeans and everything seemed rather lackadaisical. Then, the salesperson, Tiffany, started her sales process where she asks general questions. I specifically stated I want 40-50 400-450w panels with the highest efficiency rating on an adjustable ground mount system. She has no idea what panel efficiency is because she went on a ridiculous diatribe about panel degredation - which has nothing to do with panel efficiency. She even started saying that their panels don't "degredate" like other panels do. Sorry, she just makes up words at this point when the proper word is "degrade." Furthermore, she has no idea that panel angle has a huge impact on solar yield between the seasons. She only knows that they set the system at an "optimal" angle and that's it. I then reiterated that I only want an adjustable ground mount and when we meet on Monday, to be prepared with some options for me. A few days go by and I responded to their informal text message asking if they had any luck selecting an adjustable ground mount system. They then responded with a long, convoluted sales pitch about how they don't offer "sun tracking" which is not at all what I asked for. I simply pointed out that I never mentioned "sun tracking" and they didn't like that - probably because they didn't actually care about looking into my specific request for an adjustable ground mount system. So then they cancelled the appointment. No big deal. All my reviews are honest and backed up by 100% fact. I am sorry if you don't like that I recognized your "used car salesman" tactics but it is the truth. You are suplosed to be experts and you are far from this.

Nikos and Mike have been a tremendous help in my transition to solar energy. Clearly well versed and knowledgeable with everything that comes with creating a solar system. They answered all my questions, and now I have ownership of my electricity, I couldn’t be more pleased with the savings and ethics of ISP.

I chose ISP because they told me the truth about solar. Tiffany helped me with every question I had and didn’t force anything on to me. She helped me through the process and it was fast and easy! I love my solar panels and I’m glad I chose ISP!
