We hired Louis Gabriele from Amici Power to install our whole-house Generac generator this Spring. The installation was complex, involving oversight of sub-contractors for electric, landscaping, masonry, gas and more. Louis GC'd the project proactively so we didn't have to stay on top of them. Louis is also extremely easy to work with, responsive and understanding. It has been the best contractor experience we've had ever, and we love our generator - especially with storms getting worse in this area! I used amici to service my generator for five years. About a year ago they informed me that it was no longer working and needed a part. My generator is just falling out of warranty and the park was going to cost $2000. I agreed, and a month went by before they got the part at which point they told me they were wrong it was not that part it was actually a much more expensive part that was going to cost me 9000 dollars. They recommended that as opposed to spending the $9000 for a difficult to get part I should just buy a new $30,000 generator. My generator had only been used a few times and it seems shocking to me that it would already be this broken, but with a hurricane coming I had limited choices. I agreed to get the new generator if it could be delivered before the hurricane, which it couldn’t. So I said to them, Just go ahead and fix the expensive part. Six months later this is still not been done because I failed to put down a deposit which I was unaware of. Out of extreme frustration with another storm coming, I fired them. After the storm last night I finally had a new generator service company show up to see what they could do with my dad generator. Two rooms in my house were destroyed by the flood. Northeastern generator services showed up at the house and had my generator working without any new parts at all in 10 minutes. They told me that the fuses had all been pulled out and parts have been taken out and sat on the side and that my generator had been “sabotaged“. My next step is to sue amici.You have been warned.
