Amazing wholesome college experience! Christ centered education. Gorgeous area of the world to explore. Memphis and Little Rock are close by. Excellent faculty and education. I went here in the 90s and my oldest just decided to attend as well.

Very impressed with everything! Loved the environment, campus and housing. I believe we will have a Bison joining the school in 2022!

I was here from 1992-1998 (changed majors 3 times).

Overall, it was a great experience to get away from the real world. It is a loving environment where the Bible is taught and where the professors and staff show they are Christ-like overall.

However, with that said, people are people and are fallible. I’m sure that the negative comments have had negative experiences especially in the beginning, but saw nothing else after that.

Also, it is not for everyone. There is a curfew, there is no tobacco or alcohol allowed. They do take attendance each class especially Bible classes (which is required almost every semester). There is chapel every weekday. This is not your normal state college. Yes, it may seem they are treating you like a child at times, but this is to focus on what you are there for, your academic degree.

The only reason for the one star taken off was because even though it was safe from the real world, Harding did not prepare me for the real world. They did not help me to transition from when I graduated until I was able to find a job. No leads, no resume skills, I haven’t even heard of networking until years later after I graduated.

Another reason they did not prepare for the real world was how to combat the spiritual warfare in this world. They taught me how to defend my faith (why we believe what we believe), but never taught me how spread the gospel to others when the enticing world tells them to do the opposite.

Almost all the speakers/leaders are people that grew up in the church. Very rarely (if at all) did I see anyone from the front lines teaching us how to save souls.

The staff is really nice and helpful but the university tries to find every opportunity to fine you and take more money. All of the rules are a bit excessive and they don’t treat the students like adults
