Gulfstar Electric and their technicians are THE MOST PROFESSIONAL team that I’ve worked with in my 29 years in Florida! From their impeccable uniforms to their professional looking van to all their state of the art tools, Callum & Zach installed a Tesla Home Charger that required some unique and creative approaches in record time! Their well groomed personal appearance made me think the Owners were showing up for my job, as I could tell the moment they got out of the truck that they were professionals who took pride in their work!

TJ showed extreme patience over the past 4-5 months, as we waited for Tesla to ship my charger, which happened while we were out of the country for three months. His professionalism and patience was greatly appreciated as we worked through all the challenges of installing my Tesla charger in the location that I wanted.

I was recommended to use GulfStar to install my Tesla wall connector, and I’m very satisfied with their excellent customer service. The representative explained everything thoroughly before scheduling the appointment and answered all my questions. They accommodated me quickly for scheduling. Watson, their electrician, came over to do the installation. He was very polite, knowledgeable about the product, and even walked me through how to use it. He added the system to my Tesla app and shared some helpful tips, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend GulfStar to anyone looking for a reliable company to install their charger system!

Gulfstar Electric sent electrician Grayson to install the wall charger. He’s friendly and super chill, I had a great time talking to hime while he’s installing the charger. He was extremely professional and clean up the worksite afterward (something most people do not do anymore lol). The truck was nice and clean and the inside of the truck was well organized, that tells me these guys are professionals.
They are not the cheapest or the most expensive, but for quality of work and the professional standard of installation the price is worth it and price actually is comparable with local electricians that does not do EV Charger install on the daily. They also applied for the permit with my county and will help with scheduling the inspection with the county after installation.
Overall, the process was streamline, everything was online with payment/ scheduling, installation was professional as expected since they do this all the time. I would highly recommend them if you need a Tesla Wall charger install. I will recommend them to family and friends who need a charger install.

I used Gulfstar to install BMW EV charger. After research I narrow my list to 3 vendors. The 2 other vendors kept sending emails request pictures and details that made me feel they are clueless about EV chargers. So I contact Gulfstar and right they I felt I’m talk to expert who knew exactly what need to be done. After sending pictures of the garage and electrical panels next day I got my estimate. And scheduled for same week installation.
What made me really write this long review is that the electrician installed the cable different way than I desired. When I returned home I made a phone call to the company addressing my dissatisfaction. TJ was very professional and assured me of sending the team back and explained the company’s commitment to make their clients happy!
Today two young technicians came and explain to them how I want the wire to run. With smile, they said they will need 20 minutes to check the attic and let me know if it’s doable. A 30 minutes went by I went out to check and I was surprised they already done the job the way I wanted. And finishing the wall patching and testing.
I never saw an electric company go out of their way to correct work order that they already got paid for! I highly recommend Gulfstar for any electrical work in your home, because they care and very professional.

Gulfstar Electric is top tier! From the initial inquiry to install of a home charger, the entire process was simple, smooth, and everyone I spoke with was professional. Watson, installed a Tesla Universal charger so that I may charge my F150 Lightning, and the install was smooth and lasted maybe an hour - hour and a half. Best part, power to the house does not need to be turned off for install to take place. In addition, Gulfstar has various of home charger models to choose from.

I hired Gulfstar Electric after finally pulling the trigger on a Tesla. They were very responsive, quickly scheduled an installation appointment after asking for some pictures of the location for the charger install, and were very straightforward about what to expect/what they needed from me. The finalized install took about an hour and a half, looks great, and was done correctly with proper documentation in the unlikely event something needs addressing in the future. Only perfect 5-star ratings? Surely, there’s a company out there that hasn’t pleased everyone… but not Gulfstar Electric! In a world where many businesses offer mediocre service and still beg for 5-star reviews, I’d give Gulfstar Electric 6+ stars if I could.

From initial contact to installation and follow-up, communication was excellent, and everyone was friendly, professional, and transparent. No high-pressure sales tactics or hidden fees—the quoted price was the final price, and it was lower than competitors. Even when I needed extra time to decide, they were patient and accommodating.

The installers arrived on time, were friendly, efficient, and professional. They genuinely seemed to enjoy their work—a refreshing change from the usual these days—and a company I’m happy to support.

I wish more companies operated this way. I highly recommend Gulfstar Electric, and it’s clear others do, too!
