Just installed the Geshelli JNOG3 [J3] with Burson V7 Vivid Pro opamps. I have to say this DAC is off the scale amazing. Very impressed. It totally elevated my system. In hand to hand combat with a Qutest DAC the Geshelli wins hands down. I am pretty sure it can hold its own against the more high dollar DACs. - I am running Bluesound Node N132 (bypassed onboard DAC TOSLINK to J3), McIntosh MA352, Zu Audio DWX Speakers, KEF KC92 Subwoofer.

I just purchased a J3 DAC from Geshelli and I have to say that I could not be happier with my overall experience with this company.
First of all, the DAC is excellent and sounds fantastic! The stars of the show, however, are the people! I dealt specifically with Sherri who was simply unbelievable throughout the process. I had many questions. They were all answered promptly and professionally. It was clearly evident that Sherri was very knowledgeable and took pride in the company. When there was a chance that my DAC was not going to be shipped in time for the holiday, Sherri went out of her way to ensure that my product was completed and sent out in time to be under the tree for Christmas. Recently received the Geshelli Labs J2 DAC with a custom wood case. It's a family operation and I was told that "Grandpa Joe" makes the cases by hand.

I chose the woods and asked for him to decide on tones using his artistry, as I could see from photos that he's a real craftman. After it came I wrote his daughter, letting her know how pleased I am. She wrote back:

So cool to work with a family owned business that actually employs the family and that cares so deeply about the product they make and making customers happy. Sherri manages the business. Her husband designs and tests the electronics. Other family members work with them. They have a constant backlog because their stuff is great. Their customer service is exceptional too. Plus, everything's made right here in the United States.

This DAC itself sounds amazing. It's remarkably customizable. I went with the AK4499 chip set and Sparkos SS3602 op-amps for the RCA outputs (as I don't plan to use the balanced outputs and can always upgrade the other op-amps later). The result is warm and smooth with a beautiful, wide sound stage. Works beautifully with my Marantz 2270 receiver and a Wiim Pro with Original Large Advent speakers. I could not be more pleased.

The price was great. Though I've only had one other stand-alone DAC that was more entry level, I've read a lot of reviews and my sense is one would have to spend a lot more for one that sounds as good. Plus, it wouldn't have the gorgeous wood case, which goes so well with my Marantz wood case. It doesn't have the fancy displays that some similarly priced DACS offer and there's no volume control but I don't miss those things. I control the volume of my music and TV with my Wiim Pro remote and I prefer the look of this by a mile over those DACs with metal cases and LED displays.

What Geshelli labs understands is that all these things need to be better for us. If you’re looking for a DAC that will challenge what you understand about audio and not murder your wallet there is no other place to look. I have a J2 socketed with the 4499, usb and Sparkos opamps.
Customer service is another level. Forget that the product is out of this world but the communication and the responsiveness is unparalleled. Sherri is the best!

What a Brilliant company, people and products!

This is a review for the Archel 3 Pro and the J3 pro. Amp + Dac combo.
First of all thoroughly impressed.
The sound coming through these units in nothing short of fabulous. The synergy is very addictive.

I heard good things about Geshelli so thought I would give them a shot. Cause we all like to try new things, especially when they are made in house, in USA, in a family environment which I think is super cool. And it turns out they are the complete package! Sound, build, service - price to performance ratio is through the roof 🙂 And exactly what I can appreciate and respect.

I first bought the A3 pro, and used it with my setup which was a budget dac, an Eastern Electric Dac. Which had great synergy. And when they released the J3 pro, I knew I had to put them together. And that did not disappoint at all. I think the AKM chips are just excellent. I have always had a soft spot for their expertise over other chips. And this implementation by Gino has done magic. Magic in design, with also adding the swappable op amps - just genius. Very future proof.

The sound is rich, punchy, delicate, full, airy, spacious, etc.. YOu get the picture. Both products punch far above there asking price, and together you get a "Wow" combo.
I like listening to it more than my Focal Arche, A&K Acro Ca1000, and those products are quite a bit costlier. So that's saying something. Its doesn't mean its better, but how is it able to capture me as much, if not more.
I use my Focal's - Radiance, Clear MG, HD600, Campfire Audio Vega 2020 & Final Audio E5000 & E4000 with it. And they all pair perfectly!

Also another wonderful thing is their customer service is top notch. I had a small issue with a wire in the dac during the transportation process. So I got in touch with Sherri and straight away it was "lets get it fixed". Their attitude and effort is on point. They care about the customers and their company that much!
And thus that little problem was fixed right away!

Geshelli Labs totally gets it! I received my J3, and it’s absolutely stunning. The circuitry, clocking, custom options and overall physical box is top-notch. The ability to swap out op-amps makes it possible to tailor the DAC to one’s own tastes. Furthermore, the degree is support received over email from Geno and Sherri, is impressive. They get that their customers are audio enthusiasts, and often have technical and practical questions, and they respond very positively and in detail. You really get the feeling that they want you to enjoy their products, as much as they enjoy them. Top marks to them for making awesome performing equipment at very reasonable prices.

I’m so thrilled with my experience at Geshelli Labs! I purchased the J2 and was really impressed by both the product quality and the price. I recently upgraded to the J2S with Sparkos op-amps and I am blown away by its spacious sound stage, resolution, and smoothness. I now feel like my system is complete—at least until I make the leap to a Dayzee! I also love the industrial chic design of the aluminium cased DACs.

I absolutely love the care that Geshelli Labs has for its customers. Sherri gave me a call to save me money on shipping costs as I unnecessarily picked a more expensive shipping option on my first DAC. Most companies would be indifferent but not Sherri! I also think she saw that I was a return customer when I bought the J2S and made sure I was taken care of.

A February 2025 update. I had to send my J2s back for a minor adjustment. Geno, Courtney, and Sherri took care of everything FAST! I love this company.

I also enjoy being able to roll op amps. I swapped the sparkos with Burson V7 Vivids. The sparkos are great but the Bursons added more dynamics and very pronounced bass and highs in my system. The J2s is highly recommended!

Awesome company!!! Extremely responsive!!! I purchased the OG J2 Dac back in 2022 (Cant believe I'm saying back in 2022) This dac has the AKM 4493 chip. I have had this thing paired with so many digital sources from sacd players, cd players, to streamers, all kinds of computers, raspberry pi's etc etc. Just a top notch amazingly sound awesome device. Will definitely be looking for some more gear to purchase in the future. Keep up the awesome work!!!
