We began our kitchen remodel and then soon realized that we needed to have our existing vinyl flooring/glue/mastics tested for asbestos-unless we simply laid the new flooring over the current flooring. At first this made sense until it didn't! And the same flooring exists in our hallway, bathroom and back room so stopping the project and testing for asbestos test would provide valuable information for our current and for our possible future renovations. A family friend had recommended EnviroMed while our contractor had recommended three other companies. Once I spoke to Carmina who answered many questions, I decided in that moment that I would not need to contact any other company. Within a few hours, she had sent us the contract details and the payment link. As an aging Baby Boomer, I hesitated to electronically pay for the asbestos testing in full--but again, Carmina talked me down from the ledge. That Monday morning, Tyler and a trainee promptly arrived, took five samples from various parts of our kitchen floor and Ethan sent us the negative results the next day with a detailed report. The demo team arrived mid-week and they discovered that there was yet another layer of flooring underneath the original layer-we had NO idea! All worked stopped--as it should have. The next morning my husband spoke to Carmina as we needed to have this "second" layer/glue/mastics tested. That same afternoon John came to our rescue and scraped four more samples to send off to the lab. The next day Ethan once again had the negative tests results and the PDF detailed report in our inbox. I just recently used EnviroMed Services to do mold testing in my home. They sent a very intelligent young man named Mike. He was highly respectful and explained the entire process very clearly. After I received the report, I called the office with a few questions and spoke to another very respectful, young man who clearly answered my questions. The office was professional and extremely helpful. We were very happy with the staff, the results, the support and the recommendations. I would highly recommend EnviroMed Services. I would like to drop a line to express my sincere gratitude for the terrific service from EnviroMed. I asked for an air mold test with a very tight time frame. Ethan helped me get the inspection scheduled on the next day and provided me with test report the day after. He is very responsive and keeps everything on track. The reports were very detailed and professional yet easy to read. It has been an absolute pleasure to have worked with him and EnviroMed and I am certainly be recommending its services to anyone that is need of environmental tests.
