Visually this place is amazing due to the separation between light exhibits. However it’s not like a must visit in BridgeHampton, I wouldn’t come here twice. The life of Dan Flavin is represented in this renovated house and it’s amazing what they did to this house

We visited in Aug 2020 during Covid. It’s a cute compact installation house. Admission was free, there was a wait time due to Covid safety protocol. There is a cute ice cream place across the street. We had ice cream after seeing the installation.

I loved the out-of-city adventure of going to see The Dan Flavin Art Institute. Dia has the best hidden art treasures around the city, and it's been such a fun scavenger hunt to collect them all as experiences. Dan Flavin's lights were definitely one of my favorites, and so unexpected in this traditional firehouse. Definitely worth a trip to Bridgehampton, NY.

I need to look up the definition of museum and refamiliarize my knowledge of the word, but I feel like this place is more of a gallery! There is an interesting exhibit on light and color, but you gotta do the reading work to fully comprehend it. The towns cute and there are plenty of places to eat or browse.
