If I could give zero stars, I would. I have had my solar panels installed for over 5 months and Delmarva Power/Pepco Holdings has yet to grant my system permission to turn on. When I call, you are not allowed to speak to a live person and they email you back once a month saying that the project has been pushed back. My last email from Pepco Holdings stated that they had 20 business days to grant permission to turn on from when part 2 was submitted on their end which was 2.20.2025. Just now, I have received an email, that my part 2 was submitted on 3.18.2025. So which one is it? They just lie because they don't want to turn my system on and lose money. 10/10 do not recommend.

Delmarva Power’s Rate Increases Are Unacceptable – A Crime Against the Community!

It’s truly appalling how Delmarva Power continues to raise electric rates, leaving countless families struggling to pay their bills. This is more than just an inconvenience – it’s a direct attack on hardworking people who are already dealing with rising costs everywhere. While some of us are doing our best to make ends meet, Delmarva Power seems determined to make things harder, profiting off the backs of those who can barely afford their basic needs.

The rate hikes are not just unfair, they’re outright evil. They don’t consider the hardships families face, the elderly on fixed incomes, or the individuals already stretched thin by inflation. Many of us are being forced to choose between keeping the lights on and putting food on the table. It’s time for this exploitation to end.

We need to stand up and demand that Delmarva Power stop taking advantage of us! This needs to be stopped before more people are pushed to the brink. Let's raise our voices and make sure they hear us loud and clear!

CAN YOU BELIEVE THEY TOLD ME THEY DONT CHECK THE AUTHENCITY OF CHECKS. THEY LITERALLY JUST SEE AN AMOUNT AND APPLY IT. As other have said. THESE GUYS ARE SCAMMERS. Not only am I also getting $800 electric bills, I paid them an overdue balance which 2 months later they added back on my bill and said nooo you sent us a check that didn't go through so we took the credit off. BS!!! I paid my balance in full for 3 months straight right through there website and it was paid and over. The bank canceled the check as they had no proof delmarva power received it. So I paid it again electronically. They keep saying they $300 is because of a bad check...BUT I PAID AS SOON AS I KNEW ABOUT THE CHECK not being delivered. HOW CAN I OWE YOU FOR SOMETHING I ALREADY PAID. ITS YOUR FAULT YOU DONT CHECK THE AUTHENTICITY OF CHECKS. imagine a multi billion dollar company doesn't check if they're funds are legit. I hope the community gets together and protesters plus refuse to pay any BS dues they are giving us

Switching to another provider because the price gouging is STUPID and then they have the nerve to send someone door-to-door to notify me of a 10% discount to all customers. Not worried about a pathetic 10%, I’m worried about the delivery fees.

If I could give zero stars I would…seek another company for electricity because this one will claim you owe outrageous amounts. I didn’t put any sort of lights up for the holidays, my heater is not on high, and we were not notified about a rate increase?! How is that fair? And they still expect us to pay crazy high amounts when we aren’t notified about changes like this. Delmarva Power needs to fix their system because in a house where I carefully check my light usage- I doubt I owe thousands…and on top of that there is a rate increase that you aren’t notified about unless “you’re logged into ur ‘MyAccount’”. WHAT Who’s going to be logged in 24/7 expecting a rate increase. ABSURD AND UNFAIR!!

The cost of having electricity from this company has been drastically increased! When the electricity bill you receive is competitive with your rent that is a problem. Do better!

I would give less than 1 star if possible. Its extremely disheartening that it is still okay for large corporations to price gouge customers for something necessary to survive just because they know they can. Super sad I live in Delmarva powers coverage radius.

Grossly overcharging, price gouging and taking advantage of people during the coldest months of the year! The board of directors out to be ashamed of themselves, all this must be a reach that aligns with Wes “spend” Moore to shove wind power down our throats. Disgusting.
