If I could give -100 that would be my review. Horrible in all ways. Customer service sucks and pricing omg please, they are astronomical as they are a monopoly. Don't move into a Delmarva Power area.

I’ll start off with saying I own a 1400sqft Ranch on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where it is atypical to have below freezing temperatures like you’d see near the DMV area.
Since June 2023, we have paid $2326.34 in electric charges. Of which 3 months THEIR provided thermostat was running my heat on only Auxiliary power making my bill SKYROCKET. After 4.5 HOURS on 8 calls to Delmarva over the past 2 months, they have done nothing to compensate me for the exorbitant usage and many instances for misinformation and gaslighting that they gave me on the first 6 calls to them. After reading their reviews here I also noticed how my bill will have "Total Electric Supply Charges" of $392.01 for Nov 18-Dec 15, 2023, but the "Total Electric Charges" are $649.07!!! Why? there is zero explanation of this and I have been paying this for months.

I guess you can't put 0 stars which would be more adequate and accurate. Horrible customer and emergency services yet again! I called because a huge piece of sheet metal was over a line which could cause electrical problems or a fire if cut. When I reached out to the person at emergency services "Melissa" she said that they do not deal with other people's property, nor do they proactively fix problems. Also that we would have to wait until it actually caused an issue to have anybody come out and take a look. Talk about a poor business structure. I would never personally them. So I guess I'll just sit back and watch the chaos ensue. 🙃
