The owner's daughter, Angie, was very pleasant over the phone. When I arrived for my appointment, she and the other representative were welcoming and friendly. This was my first time, in a long time, using their services. They have always had a reputation for doing great work. So, I expect the same today.

I had a rude awakening on a Monday morning with a phone call after I booked an appointment online over the weekend. I was asked rudely why I called, after explaining I didn't call but only booked an appointment online and that the system suggested I waited for a call, he then rudely exclaimed; "We can't help you! I suggest you sell your car" I never made it to the shop for any diagnosis at all. What a shame of customer service.

Curt D'Addario and family are very good and knowledgable. I started taking my vehicles to Curt in 2005 and stopped going there after moving to New London in 2012. The main reason I was seeing Curt was because he is an expert on the Toyota MR2. He owned several of them and used to race them.
Now in 2023, I gave my MR2 car to my son who lives in East Hartford. I haven't driven the car in years and had several problems that needed attention. We went to visit Curt and family and they fixed all of the problems. Curt also took the time to show my son certain things that he can do to keep up the car.
I have always been happy with the service from the D'Addario family. It was great to see Curt again after all of these years.

WARNING! DO NOT SCHEDULE AN APT THROUGH THE WEBSITE. Make sure you call and book an apt. I booked an apt through the website. I waited a week for the lady at the front to tell me there was no reservation and how there is a problem with their website. SMH

I have a temperamental Chevy Cruze. The dealership misdiagnosed my blinking engine light and I was about to let the car get repoed. Totally hopeless as the car was sold to me with a bad turbo as well.

The D'addario team however found the blinking light problem quickly.
They fixed my blown head gasket (blinking light), the faulty engine turbo, and replaced my melted cat.
I finally passed emissions and now I can live again with freedom, after months of limited driving. Thank you for saving my Chevy!!
I won't trust anywhere else for what this vehicle needs in the future. <3

My truck sat in the parking lot for 7 months before they realized they wouldn't be able to work on my truck. The people there were quite cordial though. They towed my truck to and from free of charge, and they provided me a ride home. I actually wished they would have been able to fix the truck. They're a family business and I like supporting family businesses.
