Worst school in the world. Don’t let the nice building fool you. If I could give this school zero stars I would. One of the teachers said I wouldn’t be anything if I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grow up. This was so disheartening and discouraging. Teachers should want to encourage students but none hardly did. Teachers have favors and don’t care if the other students aren’t learning. Students are very mean and bullying is prevalent. PLEASE do not go here.

As a student here for 2 years, I can say with an alarming degree of confidence that this school is, and regretably will not ever be a good school for your child. For anyone looking to go here, do consider the following:
1. The lack of any academic standards, integrity, or drive to succeed. Students are awarded passing grades for little to no work. This creates an atmosphere of laziness, while dragging down the students there to learn and go on to attend college.
2. The dire incompetancy of much of the counseling and support staff. The road to a complete education, college applications, and life itself is full of questions. However, you will find none of your questions answered here.
3. The blatant disregard for civilized behaviour in the classroom, where students are permitted to engage in all manner of activities, ranging from smoking/vaping to ignorning rules to stealing and vandalizing school property.
For those who enjoy a chaotic, work free, violent school experience, this is the perfect fit for you.

School staff is not professional - child gets hurt in a game and has to be rushed to the hospital.

We spend over 6 hours to go through the process - child is on crutches - brings note from ER with instructions.

Child can’t use stairs - needs to use elevator.

School nurse tells child they cannot use the elevator because a lot of kids fake their injuries.

We need to get a note from primary care physician stating that our child needs to use elevator.

School Nurse states “without the note you need to use the stairs”

Notice how there is no help from the coach - assistant coach or the trainer they have at games who supposedly handles injuries during games/practices… because there is a lack of internal communication on their end since they saw the injury go down.

Only thing I’m looking for is some common sense as an adult - I get it rules and policy - but if there is ample evidence that this child needs to use the elevator - and a note from the ER - why is my child forced to hobble on stairs until another note is produced?

The school administration talks to parents like we are children - like in the adult world there aren’t scenarios like this where you need something to make a situation official but in the mean time there is a temporary pass to ensure the hold time is covered under law….

I am very disappointed with the people who are responsible for so many children and their cut and dry “policies” they enforce as they see fit.

I cannot tell you enough about how much this school has screwed us over. We get here in 6th grade when it was Medical Proffessions and Teacher Preparation Academy, and then they change it to MPA for about a month. We have a new principal. Okay. They got rid of teaching. Fine. I can deal. Then it goes to Academy of Science and innovation. That's okay though because the people who are in high school won't have to switch over - we'll be able to stay on our chosen path. Our principal takes a "medical leave" or whatever, which is totally okay, but at some point during it he lost his job or quit - I still don't even know. A few days after we get email we hear that there is a whole mother school with their own principal coming in. So here comes Two Rivers. Get ready for everything to change again. Teachers losing their jobs, kids afraid that they are going to be expelled for whatever reason (to make room for more students, but nobody's saying that) and we (10th graders now) have to choose a new path (computer science, scientific research, or engineering) This whole school is about science now. This is not what I came here for. Sure, one path was medical, which is definitely science, but we did not choose to come to this school for these things. We came for medical and teaching. I know i am not the only one who feels this way because you hear kids upset about it at least once a day. We're also not aloud to upload pictures? I get it, no electronics in school, but we cant even talk about our school? No. I'm writing this on a fake email afraid that they are going to track me like the coward I am, but I felt like i should say something. That being said, the teachers here are fantastic and the students are kind. Sure, we have jerks and the occasional fight, but we still get along really well here. I feel like that when the new kids come in they will be integrated really nicely after the initial awkwardness subsides. I would have given this school a 5 star if it weren't for the instability here. I would not recommend applying for a job here, as the teachers come and go so fast and are so easily replaced, but if you want a school where you'll get a god education and have establish good relatuonships, we're here. Peace out

This school is amazing for colleges, it’ll help a lot to go to college and it would look better but this school in general is just not it. Students can try and get help for a situation, but never gets actually help and everyone is so surprised when a fight or situation occurs. The school is so worried about lunch detention and dress code but is never concerned about more important things.

this school is really wack. some teachers don’t even care about the students here. it feels like they mostly care about sports then the actual education given to kids and complain about the kids but never seem to actually put in the work to uplift their students and make them better. all they do is complain but never seem to help the problem. please take my advice as a student here at the ASI, don’t bring your kids here.

I was a student at Two Rivers High School before the merger with ASI took place. Although I feel that the school does a good job teaching and providing for the students the way the merger was done does not sit well. I think it was rude for CREC to come in and take away the teaching and medical professions from the students that came here for those specific things and make the school about STEM. These kids did not deserve to be forced into changing their focus because Two Rivers came into the picture. I feel bad for all those who missed the opportunity to take certain classes and have internships. RIP MPTPA you will be missed but not forgotten.

My son loves this school the Robotics department was what caught his attention (Dr. Po your awsome) when he was looking for High schools. He just finished 9th grade with Honors. His downfall is math and I want to give Mr. Roy the credit he deserves he was able to teach my son in a month what his middle school could not in the years he was there. Thanks for staying after school and giving my son the confidence that he can do it. Also big shout out to Mrs. Juda who made my son feel welcomed. The whole 9th grade team was awesome. Hope 10th grade goes as smoothly.
