The only reason they get 5 stars is cause of the one nurse that gave me food and let me get some rest in the early am hours of March 11th when she found out I was lost and 450 miles from home . whoever you are thank you, your a very kind hearted and beautiful woman.. Conway medical center doesn't deserve 1 star because the rest of there people would have made me leave in the middle of the night when I told them I was sick and lost in a strange city and I needed help. My name is Michael C , and that nurse was the only person in the entire area that had a heart and she should be promoted instantly.. she deserves a raise and she should be in charge of that place... Thank you whoever you are ... I made it home and I really owe you a lot... That food may have saved my life...

Worst ER care ever. I got to the ER at 4:50 am throwing up, severe abdominal pain. I get put in a room pretty quickly. Nurse was great Dr. Peery was great. But they both had to leave at 7 am for shift change. I didn't see another doctor or nurse until 9:30 am. They so don't have their shit together here!! My dad drove me since I was throwing up. And he kept looking out the curtain after shift change and there was no one anywhere. You are an embarrassment to the city of Conway. Conway Regional!

This was my first experience with Conway Regional. First I was annoyed that they waited until the day before surgery to blow up my phone asking for money. There were several weeks between my appointment and the surgery date in which they could have called to discuss payment. I came in for surgery and everyone up front was very nice and reassuring. I have really bad reactions to anesthesia so I was told they would take extra care to make sure I wouldn't get so sick. Surgery went fine, nurse wakes me up and tells me it's all done and she has my clothes all ready for me to get dressed. I couldn't have even told you my name yet and she had me dressing myself. I started throwing up and she still kept asking if I was dressed yet. She called my daughter to pull the car around, I received no verbal discharge instructions and nothing from the doctor. Every other surgery I've ever had they have moved me to a room where I could wake up and speak with the doctor. Not here. I was wheeled out while throwing up and continued to throw up the entire ride back to Russellville. It's really disappointing since everyone before the surgery was so nice. And I don't know what they did to help with the after effects of anesthesia, but this was the worst experience I've ever had. I stayed sick for the rest of the day.

Horrible, my son fell and hit his head really hard, he’s a year and a half old. Walked in and they didn’t even act like we existed. Didn’t ask what was wrong with him, nothing. Asked what the wait time was and all they said was, can’t tell you that. Fill out a paper and we’ll get to you when we can. Heartless, and careless. An emergency room is for emergencies, life or death, and the way we were treated was like we were an inconvenience, something to be ignored. If you care about the health of your family members I recommend you avoid this death trap

My wife has COPD, we was transferred to Conway from another facility. After one night in ICU she was moved to the Women's care unit. Most of the employees we had contact with was great. But when we decided the care we was getting we could do at home and it was time to go home (been dealing with this for 15 yrs) the delays started. Told the doctor the day before we was going home so he could have time to make it happen. Next day when we asked about paper work more delays. Finally told the nurses station we would be leaving without discharge. Was met with total disrespect. Told how bad I was for endangering my wife. Then told I would have to sign AMA papers which I said no to, was told insurance would not pay if I didn't, which is not true, do your home work. Told them I would talk to a director and was promptly told they would get one. The person I talked to listened to me and had us out in 30 minutes. But here is the catch, after looking at the director list the person I talked to is not on it. Will not be back. Just to know, quit my job 2 yrs ago to take care of my wife, 1st time since diagnosed with COPD 15 yrs ago she has had to go to the hospital. Her wellbeing is at the top of my list.

My mom was seen in the Conway Regional Emergency Room on 12/02/2024 by Dr. Jason R. Skinner, M.D. and his team. They were well organized, and the entire experience went smoothly. Dr. Skinner was able to see that she was in some serious pain, and he made sure that her issue was well managed. My family and I are very thankful for his calm/professional bedside manner.

Do not have a baby here! Under qualified staff and contradicting information. Literally received medical info from one nurse and 10min later told the contrary by another nurse. If you smoke marijuana they WILL send dhs to your house! They'll actually keep your child until the state gives them permission to let them leave. Underhanded supervisors lied about everything. Don't get me wrong they're are some wonderful people there but not worth risking the safety of your family. Apparently this policy has already been on the chopping block but has been kept for some stone age reason maybe they get a kick back from the state? All I know is baptist down the road doesn't have the same policy and I'm guessing probably don't lie as much.

This place has SERIOUSLY gone downhill. I have driven my mother to the ER twice for severe stomach pain this week and they left her in the waiting room for over an hour. The second night literally no one else was in the waiting area besides the two of us and the girl at the front desk (Bethany, I believe her name was) despite hearing my mother moan in pain made her wait over an hour to go to the back, as she was the one both nights to take us to the back. The second visit, the doctor she received (Fahr) told her that he "only deals with life threatening conditions" and that "there's nothing he can really do for her", callously implying that her condition isn't worth his time. She told him on her first visit the night prior they sent her home with half strength hydrocodone and it wasn't helping to which he responded with "I just don't prescribe opioids". Great, good for you... this has nothing to do with your personal feelings. You're not the one in pain. Then he goes on to tell my mother that the reason why the conway regional gastroenterologist doctor canceled her appointment was because she was on eliquis. She asked him how was she supposed to know that she couldn't be on it prior to the procedure. He snarkily responded with "your health, your responsibility". Seriously? Are all of your incoming patients presumed medical professionals? Is shirking our job responsibilities how we roll now, conway regional? I seriously encourage others to search out other options before going to conway regional as what we (and obviously others given the reviews below) received was an egregious lack of concern or care. We will NOT be returning to this cut rate slack joint posing as an ER.
