Highly recommended! Absolutely, hands down, THE best. They've been helping me for at least 5 years now. Remember, when you hire Chestnut, you're not hiring an electrician and a truck. You're getting the whole company, so if your needs are small, you get what you need. Big job for multiple days? Chestnut scales to meet your needs. They have *never* let me down, including emergency, "I need you now," phone calls. My calls are mostly residential work, but they've also helped me with commercial work too. Their people, like Scott and Ray and Carlos, are all super customer-focused skilled tradesmen. I cannot say enough good words about these guys.

Bill was up 40% year over year. Tony called and walked me through issues with my electric bill, discussing and diagnosing every issue that could be causing the increase. He and I came to conclusion that it didnt make sense to charge the $250 for the service call. Truly appreciate the time and honesty!

The best of the best. We recently moved into a 98 year old home in Wilton. Scott came out and fixed issues that we were very concerned about. Chestnut was great in setting up the appointment and assessing the work over the phone. When Scott arrived he started finding solutions to our issues immediately and never stopped working until every task was completed. He is an extremely competent and professional electrician and our old house suddenly feels brand new! We are so fortunate to have Chestnut Electric and our amazing technician, Scott. We have two more phases of work to do and we are resting easy now that we have found Scott and Chestnut Electric. Highly recommend.

* I am going to edit my review and take a star off as a caveat for anyone reading. If the company sends 2 employees it is double the price, so instead of $150 it’s $300 per hour. Also, keep track of the hours so you know exactly how long they were there. Apparently they said if they were there for half the hour, they will bill it as the full hour. *

Thank you so much Chestnut Electric, you guys did a fantastic job installing three of our lamp sconces, lamp post and lamp light (filling in concrete), ring camera pro wired, taking out our old big attic fan, fixing any electrical issues our inspector had mentioned prior. Anthony helped me coordinate everything, he even stopped by free of charge to take a look at that attic fan, and honestly their price to do all this was unbeatable. Scott and Ivan were the electricians that worked tirelessly to put in these fancy lights I got, and the myriad of other electrical issues we needed help with. Thank you so much for your team’s reliability and excellent work!

I highly recommend Dennis! He came to my house this week to replace several light fixtures and switches. He was prompt, professional and extremely knowledgable. Dennis took the time to explain everything he was doing and made several really helpful recommendations. He was very thorough and took the time to make sure that everything was mounted properly and flush. When he found issues, like a loose box or bad wiring he resolved everything to ensure that it was safe. I will definitely be requesting him for my next job!
