The most honest mechanics in the area. They do good work at a fair price.
When i moved to the area i went to a bunch of mechanics looking for quotes to fix a few issues i was having, except each time I also included 1 thing I knew was not a problem since I had just fixed it myself. These guys are the only ones who said they didnt recommend fixing that one thing since it looked to be in good shape. Every other mechanic just added it to their quote, probably without even looking at anything.
Since then i have had them do 2 major jobs on the car, both times without issue. I recommend them to anyone.

brought it my car with its severely corroded battery terminals. really nice guy seems like he'd be fun - he cleaned it up and tested it for me. had my new unit delivered and installed in no time. the price i paid here was less than the price of a new car battery at the auto parts store i was very pleased with the invoice. great experience and i can tell you the battery is working perfectly.

I brought my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe to Charley and Doug’s to free up seized joints diagnosed during a wheel alignment at Town Fair tire. The mechanics determined one rod was broken which they replaced and freed up the remaining joints. A subsequent alignment was successfully conducted.

I also asked them to investigate an intermittent problem preventing the car from starting on occasion. During the time at Charley and Doug’s, the problem did not occur making diagnosis nearly impossible. At my request, they replaced the starter as a potential cause. Car worked fine for a few days and then wouldn’t start. I brought the vehicle back to the shop and once again, the vehicle started and ran fine. With all signs pointing to a battery or cable connection problem, the mechanics rebuilt both battery terminal connections and inspected, cleaned and tightened all cable connections at no charge. The problem has not returned.

I cannot say enough good things about the workmanship and reasonable price for their service. What stands out and makes them my go to service station is their honesty.

Highly recommend and if I could give more stars, I would.
