Accidentally charged an old bank account that is now closed when going to pay my electric bill, the payment obviously did not go through. They charged me $30 EXTRA on top of my bill because of a mistake. This is an area with broke and struggling people. When i explained to them on the phone that when i chose that account it was an accident because I didn’t realize it was an old one and that i can go ahead and pay using my current bank account, they still refused to refund the overage charge. It is truly sickening to watch companies suck the life out of struggling people. Shame on you.

They came through my yard when I was at work and cut down, fully grown fruit trees that were shorter than the power lines, and that would never be able to touch the power lines. They did not clean up the mess they made.

CARROLL ELECTRIC IS A JOKE!!! This company has charged me a reconnect fee each month for the last 6 months. Today I called and paid my bill, yet they STILL DISCONNECTED MY SERVICE!!! while I was on the phone paying my bill. When I called them back to find out why, they stated I'd have to pay the reconnect fee yet AGAIN!!! even tho they literally spoke to me and knew I was paying it on the phone with them!! Crazy 60$ extra every month they are such thieves and not a thing a person can do about it! THIS IS CRAZY!!!

I’ve had great experience with the customer service. My power was cut off after we bought our home and lived in it for a few months. I thought I had set up the electric and I didn’t fully finish the application, so it was never set up. I called right as they opened and submitted my new application and the kind lady processed it and sent someone out to turn it back on before we hung up. Very grateful they could do it so quickly.

My only disappointment was the application itself. I had completed the entirety of the application and received an email stating I should receive another form and I never did. Apparently you have to go back into the application and pay after that. Just a heads up!

Overall though, I’ve had a good experience with them!

Outstanding customer service! We aren't even customers yet, and the service has been impeccable. We called to find out about buying electric boxes, permitting, running lines to the property, etc. They were so friendly and helpful.

A gentleman named Billy came out to help with some field service work. He was Amazing. The knowledge he is is immensely helpful. Carroll Electric def employs some great folks. We are thankful!

An insensitive company that doesn't care about the people in the community or who they supply service to. Unfortunately everyone is dependent on them because there are no other options, and I feel they take advantage of that. Charging a penalty using the two highest bills to a young single mother because your website was disabled and / or late with payment is ridiculous. Over $600 to be tacked on to the existing bill in Installments of $50 a month over 13 months period. Not to mention that we're going into winter where the usage will double possibly triple. Maybe it's time to set down and come up with a better plan on how to work with individuals and their needs.
