I went to the ER and have been admitted into the hospital. I want to give all the recognition to their wonderful staff. They have been incredibly attentive, informative, and caring. I haven’t been left sitting for any amount of time, there have been multiple people from multiple departments around me most of the time. I want to give the biggest shout out to Carla and Diane. They had to administer several types of IVs. Carla is the most nurturing person, made me feel so safe and taken care of. Diane is a total boss, the best in her field and also has such a fun, hilarious personality. It makes scary things much less scary. The ER staff Rachel and Dr. Smith were great. And my nurses on the 3rd floor, Cullen, Jo and Rachel. Also shouting out Ms. Bea! Thank you all!

Extremely difficult to get referrals to specialists at this hospital! No one should have to wait six months to get an appointment only to have it cancelled a week before. I'm beginning to think they don't care. I believe the P.A. is trying to help me, and his nurse says they are having problems getting referrals. I have made repeated phone calls, but keep being put off. People are telling me this is the norm now. It's extremely frustrating!

Husband was in for a week and a half they took care him but house cleaning never went into his room to clean up or change his sheets that had blood on them from iv sticks bed want never changed I had to ask for the stuff and do it myself he was too weak to do it, the light in his bathroom had lady bugs in it nobody clean it , the kitchen had an issue with something and couldn't make cooked meals (they should have had back up cook plates to use or maybe toaster type ovens perhaps) . You call to speak to case worker you need to leave a message on the voice mail and hope they call you tell them you need a visiting nurse for the patient and they question you . It really seemed like a training hospital without anyone training. Just very disappointing . We will go else ware next time.
2 stars because they did keep him alive

I go to this hospital to support our local hospital but the respect is poorly shown in ED I am a former health care worker (11 or so yrs) myself and being a care giver you can show much respect if not its time to leave. There were many who shown compassion and understanding and I thank them deeply for their kindness while few would shout, disrespectedme as a 70 year old lady.I would give more stars because when admitted several months ago my stay was very pleasant without any added stress House dr was VERY VERY sweet with much help and humor, as well as the nurses on the floor. So thank you much from my heart!! No one likes to be screamed at while in need of help I just had another experience yesterday while having most awful experience several months back. I have to be admitted to other facilities away from home with my condition and was treated with much love.care and respect. Kindness goes a long way from both sides. I do want to thank other nurses who took very good care showing much compassion IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME so thanks dearly!

Go to low moor if you can I don’t recommend this hospital, very poor manners and disrespectful. When your loved ones are sick and hurt they are just very cold and unprofessional with handling situations and answering questions. This isn’t the first pathetic experience but if I can help it then it will certainly be the last.

I wouldn’t take my animals to this so called hospital. Nasty dirty rooms patients are treated like trash. My loved one was there for 9 days out of a nursing home or would never entered them doors. WE NEVER SEEN A DR after emergency room. Couldn’t even get one to come to room to talk with us texted the nurse went thru her oh geee thanks..I’ve never in my life seen a hospital in this condition and I’m 64. DO BETTER CLEAN IT UP C-diff is extremely contagious 😷 dirty linens in floor and cover ups hanging outta trash cans in her room disgusting 🤮

Wasn’t taken seriously about my concerns for myself and my baby in my belly. Nurses just gossiped in the halls while I sat in a room for almost an hour they didnt come back in to collect my pee sample. Until after hour went by and I requested to leave after that didn’t feel comfortable staying somewhere like that to be treated like I wasn’t cared about as a patient and they wasn’t busy at all. Go anywhere else don’t go there not my first bad experience but that draws the line. Nurses rude when I expressed why I wanted to leave very unprofessional place in my opinion.

Horrible patient care/service. My dad (who lives alone and suffers from Parkinson’s disease) and has always bent over backwards to serve his community was treated poorly today. While visiting the ER he asked for the door to remain opened and it was closed. He couldn’t reach the call button to request help and had to yell for a nurse which was frowned upon. Blood was left in the picline (IV) and upon discharge was rudely told “you can take of yourself at home but cannot even walk to your own vehicle and want a wheelchair?” This is how the community hospital takes care of not only its elderly population BUT a veteran. You should be ashamed of the services that were NOT provided today. It doesn’t matter how many times someone walks into your facility, the patient should always be treated with compassion and care along with respect.
