I recently had Brevard Electric add a 200A additional service to an outbuilding. They did a great job of it, their office (Mindy) coordinated between all the parties for a 3 day install. The installation crew communicated well with me and the final product setup is great. Costs these days are rising yet BE is competitive and provided value. I recommend them for your next electrical installation needs.

I called a family member who was an electrician and asked for a reference; he gave me Brevard Electric and if needed I will call them again 100%.
I made the call because of flickering power; the guys came out the same day and found a couple of issues. These issues warranted a call to FPL; who when hearing the numbers sent a line truck over, faster than I have ever seen, who then did some more testing. The issue with my house that was build in 1985 was the outside breaker box by the meter; there was also a bad line by the pole, which shot off sparks big time. The risk of fire hazard was very high; so FPL pulled the meter, plus side is the call was escalated and power was back on with in 4 hours of FPL shutting it down.
Then the guys came back out this a.m. and replace the breaker (FPL said it was safe to use; until a new install) and along with the breaker came an included inline surge protector, a bonus.
According to FPL what happens during a thunderstorm with a lot of lightening is a strike happen close; that shorts the ground. Power comes back and seeks a ground; usually the closest ground is a Spectrum line which it follows to the modem/router, which the travels to any device that is plugged in, like a desktop or laptop plugged in with an ethernet, explains why I had to replace many electronics devices, yet not the surge protectors they were plugged into. If you have an older house; pay attention to it.

I just had Brevard Electric Services out to fix some problems in my 67 yr old house. Dale and Jamie were right on time as scheduled and were very quick. They were very understanding and helpful! Yes, I would have them out again!!!!

We have them come out and give us an estimate to do our whole house wiring. We agreed to the price. The work Failed inspection multiple times. When main power was hooked up. Multiple lights not working multiple plugs would not work. When they came back out to fix their mistakes and charged us $285. And we did not authorize them to fix anything over their mistakes. When I called them to talk to them about the problems, the owner hung up on me. We had a temp pole that they charged us a $300 deposit for and when they came and picked it up did not refund it because they charge just to come fix their mistakes.

The owner has Napolean syndrome and thus has fired or driven away all GOOD electricians. You will get serviced accordingly to their skill levels and utter lack of supervision & electrical education.

I was very impressed with their service from phone call to installation, prices, time work was completed and the electricians going above and beyond for noticing an issue with my AC and taking the time to address it, will be recommending them to friends and family and using them in the future again for all my electrical needs, a 10/10 in my books !!!!
