I’m not surprised to see such low rating. If there was an option for 0 stars- I would select it. My husband and I called about our bill. The associate couldn’t help us so we asked to speak to the manager Kathy. Manager Kathy was just as useless and unprofessional. Their portal is the problem that needs to be updated, Kathy said that we didn’t pay 2022 taxes on the portal, yet we paid 2023 in the year 2022 was due. That bill simply did not show up on the portal. When I started to complain about the ancient portal that, for which she said I would have to contact the county IT. She then told my husband to stop talking because she was talking. We were blown away that a manager is talking to paying customers in that manner! When we asked if she really just told us to stop talking, the manager Kathy just hung up the phone. She admitted to doing so, when I called back. This is just simply not acceptable!

I was in a 3 car wreck Nov.15 on Hammonds Mill road. My vehicle was hit from behind and then i was slammed into vehicle in front of me. My truck and the Porsche Cayan that hit me was also totalled.
Ambulance people made me walk 50ft to the ambulance. After they made me climb into ambulance, they started to transport me to hospital. I was not strapped to the stretcher. If i had not put my feet on the floor during transport, i would have fallen on the floor of the ambulance.
This really happened. Still cant believe it. If i could have given less than 1 star. I would have.

Lois (I am so sorry if the spelling is incorrect) was fabulous! I called over the phone to ask some insurance questions that probably seemed very simple to her. She was patient and understanding and left me with a positive outlook on the situation. If you can, ask for Lois when calling this department for questions regarding bills, insurance, etc. she also answered on the first ring! Very impressed and happy.

The actual EMTS were excellent 5 stars!! As far as the office goes NEGATIVE five stars. They list several #s on the bills to call to pay or for questions. Idk why they waste ink printing these numbers on the documents bc no one answers. I've called every day of the week 4x a day (Different times during business hours). Then get charged a late fee bc no one answered the lines to collect payment. THE OFFICE IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE.

You pay taxes every year, then they want you to pay an annual fee, and then charge you to use ambulance services! Bunch of crooks. Little be known if pay the fee you'll still get charged as well as if put oxygen on you they will charge move stating it was advanced life support. But the numerous narcan recipients get off free. If dont pay fees the charge you full prices(which they should) but also send it to collection agencies

This is a office for paying your fire/ambulance billings. Does not have parking or bathrooms. Meter parking on the street. No handicap parking or entrance. This office severely forces the public to pay very highly expensive yearly fire/ambulance fees even if you NEVER use either one. Also every ambulance always charges over 1,000.00 plus to be taken to the hospital. The more miles they travel the higher your billing will be. I'm only less than 5 miles from the hospital to always be billed over 1,000.00 each time you use any ambulance company.

I missed my payment for 2020 unintentionally. Instead of calling me or sending another notification they send me a letter threatening legal action . They tacked another 50 dollars on to it

Worst emergency services ever encountered. They dropped me while carrying me to their ambulance. Pathetic excuse for critical care. Next emergency I will drive myself across to Virginia and wait for proper treatment.
