Stopped in to have them look at a small engine block that I thought was going to need bored or sleeved to be able to be used again. They looked at it on the spot, and instead of charging me for any machine work, or recommending they do anything, they said it looked fine the way it was. They could have recommended more machine work, and I would have said go ahead. I need this engine put back together, but they examined the block and told me it looked great in its current condition.
They struck me as stand up trustworthy folks, and I will definitely bring any machine work to them in the future.

First time here but felt very welcomed. Talked with the owner for a bit while dropping off a part to be machined. After taking my info I was informed of the process, price, and turnaround time. This company has been around a long time and their work speaks for itself. Delaware isn't big but the automotive community is strong and Alderman's is a staple of it's community.

Left shaving all over some of my parts in a box. Was very displeased. Took very long and only done 50 percent of the job wothin 2 years. Will never recommend this place to anyone. Was lucky enough to be able to save the pistons for my car. I was furious when i saw the box with a bunch of metal shavings. Just didnt bother to argue with them anymore.

Instead of selling a service that would cost more than a hard to find part, staff helped me locate a rocker shaft that I could not find at 8 national specialty parts shops. Took time to educate me on some other engine issues. Lucky we have tAlderman here in Delaware!!
