I just got off of the phone with an individual at the building department. His name was Mark, he did not leave a last name. I am an electrical contractor in Gainesville and have been visiting your building department for the last 32 years. This is the first time I have ever been treated rude by anyone in the department. This guy interrupted a phone call that I was having with Lynn. He rudely spoke to me as if I was some kind of low life individual, and hung up on me. There was not argument I was simply seeking information on a drawing that I submitted. I believe the building department is a government agency that works for our benefit. This fellow should be reprimanded for treating a customer so rudely.
