I found a photo from my introductory lesson. This is not recent but I will still share my experience. It was super fun and informative. The instructor was knowledgeable. I plan on going back soon. It’s a unique sport and when time permits, I want to learn more and do it as a hobby. It is just not for young folks. Adults can learn as well. Tougher than it looks and the uniform is super hot.

Free beginner classes are a good way to see if this sport is for you or your child. Class was entertaining and educational, with not too much sales pressure for signing up for further classes. Facilities are well taken care of and staff was very helpful. The beginner classes are mostly children/youth, but a sprinkling of adults as well.

This is a very spacious club offering a very warm and friendly learning environment. All services and weapons are available including a full armory. This is a very solid club with national level staff all over the club.

Fenced here for 3 years. Coach Hoss was the absolute best coach and mentor. If you come in, ask for Hoss!

"Both of our daughters started fencing nine years
ago at Fencing Institute of Texas. Since then, there
wasn't a single day where we were not thankful for
how much this sport has changed our daughters'
perspectives of life!!! Yes, you heard me! Sounds
really epic, doesn't it?! But it is true, FENCING has
not only improved the level of focus, commitment
and dedication in all aspects of our daughters' lives,
but fencing has also taught our daughters how not to
give up so easily when they face any obstacle in life.
Most importantly, they have learned to NEVER do
anything half way or else you will never reach your
goal, big or small. FIT is a safe place for our
daughters to thrive at their potentials, to set their
goals, to challenge themselves, and with patience,
dedication and a lot of hard work, it has really
brought up the very best in them. Along with the valuable guidance from our dedicated Coach Volodymyr (A Foil Master), he has really helped to bring the very best in our daughters. For this, we are forever grateful to you Coach Volodymyr!!! And to the founders of this club Ms. Brenda and Mr. Ovy, thank you for your commitment and your constant support to the fencers and the families. :))

friendship and bonding they have established over
the years at FIT! FIT is almost like a second home to
them!!! Because of this strong sense of unity, the
older fencers are always there to help the new
members at FIT. We are just very grateful we found

Great spacious facility! Probably the nicest fencing school in DFW area. Has armory, spacious waiting room, 18 fencing strip, even has treatment room.
