It’s so much quieter than my previous setup. They explained how everything works and walked thru the operation with me. These guys do quality work. Take a look at the pictures. Hello, my name is Julia and I was looking at replacing my old oil heating system. Because both the oil tank and oil boiler needed to be replaced, I decided to explore the most efficient and greener options. I discovered a propane system would be best. It is 95% efficient vs 85% efficiency of the most efficient oil boiler, it is cleaner for the environment, requires less maintenance, is quieter than the oil boiler, takes up less space, costs less to operate, does not hook up to chimney (eliminating needed chimney cleaning), and I will never have to worry about a potential oil leak.

I contacted a couple of heating and plumbing specialists to give me quotes. Jay Millas from Millas Plumbing and Heating came out to look at the job. He came up with an excellent plan and quote for the installing the propane boiler system. I decided to go with Millas Plumbing and Heating as they not only had had good customer reviews, but their quote included the installation one of the best German made propane boilers on the market and also included the removal of my oil tank and old boiler (not something I would want to do myself and not a service provided by all propane boiler installers). On top of that, the propane system would cost less to install than replacing my oil system.

Once I contracted with Millas, Jay and his crew changed out my system within a relatively short amount of time.

Jay and his crew were awesome. They worked diligently, professionally, and efficiently until the job was done. All of his crew are knowledgeable about the system and very pleasant. I must admit, I had an oil heating system all my life and this was totally foreign territory for me, but working with Jay made it so much easier. He explained things to me and obtained all necessary permits and worked with my propane supplier.

Now that the new propane system is in, I absolutely love it. It takes up such little space as compared to the old oil boiler system, it is very quiet, and looks like a piece of steam punk artwork on the wall….OMG their plumbing is so incredibly neat, precise, and intricate…looks awesome and runs perfectly.
The system is different than the old oil system and Jay has responded to any questions and concerns I have had very quickly.

I have found that Millas Plumbing and Heating to be a very reputable and reliable company to work with and highly recommend them to anyone looking to install a new heating system….they are awesome!

We recently had a Mitsubishi Electronic Heating and Cooling System installed in our home. We are very pleased with the installation and operation of the system. Jay Millas and his entire team are absolutely incredible! From the very beginning Jay visited our house to create a quote he was very polite, forthright and explained the reasons behind the quote and what our options would be for varying rebates based on the different units. He also handled all the permits, planned and coordinated with electricians (who were also wonderful) and the utilities company. The Millas office was extremely friendly and communicative to us about the days that team members would be arriving and any additional information or questions I might have had they were very quick to respond to me.
The install was a breeze; the entire team was so hard working, friendly and most importantly trustworthy. At the time I had a 6 month old and also two dogs and the Millas team were very accommodating and also were very conscientious in closing the gates each time they went up and down the stairs. At the end of the install they went through how to use the different modes and what to do for different options / settings and they gave us a binder as well that was organized with all the user manuals. And anytime I have had a question going forward I call the company and they happily explain the process of switching filters or modes etc.
I really can’t say enough wonderful things about this company because from beginning to end they were all incredible from the office to the on site team.
