Bennett was absolutely phenomenal when my BMW failed due to a water pump failure. They diagnosed the issue, worked with my (very annoying) warranty company, communicated wonderfully, and were able to make the fix ahead of schedule. Definitely returning for future work!

For front and rear brake pads and rotors on my BMW 330i, Bennett charged me more than 20% OVER BMW DEALER COST. And the owner (a woman, Melissa I believe) essentially called me a liar, telling me “there’s no way” when I told her the dealer price and continuing to doubt my figures, even when I produced the actual written estimate. She even accused the BMW dealer of not using actual BMW parts (with no basis). Initially the mechanic said he’d match the price but she intervened: “well I won’t!” So the job cost me $300 more than it would have at the dealer. Very disappointing, both in terms of price and lousy attitude.

I will take my 3 German automobiles elsewhere. I’m sure all our Audi, BMW, Mini and Porsche-owning friends in the area will be similarly disappointed to read this. I’m all for supporting local businesses but not one that treats good customers this way.

first time bringing my car in- i’ve had not so great luck with shops for my 14’ C300 but happy to say Bennett was wonderful. prompt communication; fair pricing, and my car is driving so smoothly after the transmission service. thank you!!!

I had quite the list of jobs for these guys, and it was done exceptionally well. I've been dreading getting the valve cover replaced, and they did it without any issues! My car is performing so much better, it sounds and feels like it did years ago. I felt completely heard when I put forth my concerns with the maintenance/work that I knew my car needed. These guys listened and carried out the job in a professional, high quality, and timely manner. Very knowledgable when it comes to BMWs. Prices are very reasonable too. Overall, they've definitely earned my trust.

One star removed as I tried to make an appointment recently, then when I called back to confirm a few days later, no one had any record of the appointment. The next available appointment was a full week out from when I originally planned on bringing my car in- except I had a time, and possibly safety sensitive issue so ended up having to just take it to BMW. Communication could be a little bit better. I was disappointed with my last attempt to book an appointment.

Called to get an estimate cost on the work to replace the oem charge pipe on my 2017 BMW M2 which exploded during a track day at Lime Rock Park. I needed to explain what a charge pipe was to the woman receptionist, after which she consulted with the mechanic. They refused to do the work which is a simple bolt on procedure between the intake manifold and intercooler. I considered to do it myself but figured I would get an estimate so that I didn't have to struggle underneath the car without a lift. Thanks for nothing.

I have taken my cars to Bennett Motor Werks for about twenty years. The quality of service is outstanding, and there is no issue that they can't handle. It is family run, and I can't say enough good things about the shop, quality of the work or the family that owns it. Don't be put off by the building or shop. It is not a hotel lobby, but a true mechanic's shop. The focus is on your car, not on fresh flowers and a magnificent waiting area. And, the prices are very reasonable, so if that is important, go to the Winvian for drinks with the money you save.

Brought my Audi here because felt swaying in the rear , one test drive and 3 mins on the lift and he found the issue! Extremely knowledgeable owner and one hell of a guy ! Definitely will be bringing any issues here ! And fairly priced !!!!
