The fact that my electricity bill has 600% increased in 3 months with no changes tells me that they need to be stopped, how are the allowed a monopoly and our state gov cant seem to be bothered to do anything about it, Please fix this. Customer service when needed has been terrible as well. Do other states have this problem or just another reason to leave CT?

Eversource erroneously turned the gas off after we bought a place and switched the utilities and now are going to take 1 week to turn it back on. We have gas heat and it’s December.

My review is 1-star only because I couldn’t give them a zero. I HATE, absolutely HATE Eversource. Their rates are high and customer service is non existent. But I think what irritates me most is their lack of communication. What’s more, if you want to try and go with another supplier, they told me that they couldn’t guarantee I still wouldn’t get a bill from Eversource. At this point the AG should step in on this monopoly.

I am being over charged every month 164.00 for electricity I live in a small 2 bedroom apt 900 s/f I called eversource to get this resolved the reps don't have a clue so I get shifted around in their system because they're bunch of idiots who like to waste your time Eversource know they can get away with it because there is nothing you can do about it. One day when there is a class action law suit I will definitely be involved! Oh and forgot to mention I'm hardly ever home!

Ct electricity is monopolized by these people so they do not care about their reputation. Ask any Wallingford resident how they feel about their electric company(they have their own). You people are criminals and should be held accountable for price gouging and monopoly practices.

It is illegal to monopolize the market. All energy in Connecticut has to go through eversource. Your rates are higher than others. You claim to allow us to switch companies for better rates. Then make it difficult for anyone to switch. What company doesn't automatically try to get the better deal on their product? Why do you charge more than other companies offering electricity? Why do you keep sending me Emails to go paperless. You going to reduce my bill for going paperless? You can keep printing both my bills & mailing them to me every month. It's the only way I feel like I'm getting any of my extra money worth from eversource. Stop paying for advertisements & reduce our rates. What you don't make enough money from us. Need to jack up the rates for the next fancy car or boat to but. Stop being greedy treat your customers your ( money makers ) with some respect.

The worst company! Their technicians are incompetent and their customer service are rude and dismissive. Who is the CEO for this company You need to revamp this entire company. They disconnect the wrong meters and have little to no regards to fix the issue permanently. I wish I could find a new power company to deal with!
