I wanted all features of a new car but didn't want to buy one just for those reasons so I contacted 12 Volt Specialist by text to have a new car play radio and back up camera installed in my 2007 Honda Civic. John responded with a quote.
I made an appointment for installation. He installed a Pioneer DMH 1770NEX, back up camera and let me know that I needed new speakers as one was blown which I said to go ahead and install. The radio, CarPlay and Back up camera work great! I love that I can mirror it with my iPhone for music and maps, I have tried the hands free call feature and my family says they can hear me and it sounds fine. Do not hesitate to bring your vehicle to John. I had just bought this Acura and the previous owner completely destroyed the wiring in the vehicle when trying to connect a subwoofer. Everything you shouldn’t do they did. I didn’t think that anyone would be able to fix what they had did to the car. But when I brought my car to John he fixed everything completely in just a couple hours. He’s extremely knowledgeable, he has great customer service and was even updating me with pictures as he was fixing my car. Now I have a perfectly working sound system, and I have touchscreen radio with Apple Carplay on an ‘07 vehicle. Also I thought I was gonna have to pay close to a grand to get all of that fixed, but nope he has the best prices for certain. I won’t be taking my car anywhere else but here for all my wiring needs.

It is an absolute shame this place did not show up at the very top of my search results, I must’ve called 30 places in the last two weeks, just needing one aftermarket service part installed. 12 Volt were the only highly rated ones around who were willing to do it, and they’re highly rated for a good reason. They weren’t given a time sensitive window to fix it and they still got it done immediately. John was extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and didn’t overcharge me. They do good work and good business, if you love your car and wouldn’t trust it to just anyone like me. Bring it to 12 Volt, love this place.
